Four?

Caleb's P.O.V

I wake up at 6:30am get out of bed and make Ivy and my meals for the day. Then I wake her up, "What Time is it?" She asks me
"7:00am." I reply
"Why did you wake me up..? It's too early.." she groans
"You're coming to meet my friend and his siblings"
"Who's you're friend dad?"
"You'll see now get dressed and come in the kitchen to eat we have to get going." I tell her and walk out of the room.

About 30 minuets later we're off to the docs. When we get to the docs I open the door to the "Machine" and help Ivy into it, I follow her soon after and start the engine and we're on our way to the inlet of the rocks.
When we get to the inlet I climb out onto the rocks helping my daughter up.
"Where's your friend dad?" Ivy asks
"He's not here yet." I reply and wait for lock to appear.

About 10 minuets later I hear a splash and hear a voice "Caleb? You here?!"
"Yeah I sure am" I say, i walk around the rocks.
I see lock sitting there, I smile.
"Ivy! Come here and meet my friend Lock!" I call.
Ivy walks around the corner of the rocks, I walk to her and take her hand. Making sure that she doesn't slip on the rocks.
"Ivy this is Lock." I say
Ivy stares at Lock. Her eyes wide open.
Lock smiles, "Nice to meet you Ivy, Caleb has told me all about you." He remarks.
"You're a mermaid! Only a boy!!" She exclaims
Lock laughs.
"Yeah! I sure am!" He replies happily.

When I hear Lock laugh something inside of me comes alight. I feel.. weird... I don't know what it is but I love it.

Ivy sits next to lock and starts asking a lot of questions like
" what is it like to live under water?"
And
"How do you breathe up here?"
I smile at them.
I hear a noise from behind the rock. "Psst. Caleb!"
It's keykey
I walk over to her.

( C = Caleb, K =Keykey)
C: "What is it?"
K: "Do you love my little brother?"
C: "What?!"
K: "Shh.. I said do you love my little brother?"
C: "I.. I don't know how to respond to this question."
K: " just say yes or no."
C: " I guess so... yes I l-love him..."
K: "I knew you were gay!"
C: "Ok now you shush."
K: "what?"
C: "I-I Dont love him like that I love him as a friend..."
K: "i DoNt LoVe HIm LiKe tHaT i LoVe HiM aS A fRiEnD"
K: " stop lieing. I know you love him!"
K: " so go over there and kiss my little brother!!"
C: " No. I can't or at least I can't right now."
K: "SO YOU ARE GOING TO?!!"
C: "I didn't say that I was going to"
K: "I dIdN't SaY i WaS gOiNg To. Oh shut up I know you want to."

Keykey smirks and yells " LOCK! Where are you little bro!"
I walk over to lock and Ivy and sit down.
"Over here!" He yells back
I sigh.
Ivy is smiling more than ever, "wait until you meet his sister she looks a lot like him" I whisper to Ivy and smile.
Keykey surfaces.
I watch as Ivy's eyes widen and she smiles even more.
I'm glad she's happy about meeting my friend and his sister.
Keykey goes under water again and is gone for a while. But when she comes back it's with two new people that I've never seen before.
One has short red hair and has an angry expression on her face. The other one has orange hair that covers part of his face.
The two new people hesitate before coming and introducing themselves.
The red haired one speaks first
"Who are you and what are you doing here?" She asks
"Naia be nice. He must be Lock's boyfriend." The orange haired one says calmly.
I feel my face get hot.
"Him?! Key is this true?!" The girl named Naia exclaims
"Mhm." Keykey nods
"Keykey! Shut up!!!" Lock yells. I look at him his face is red.
Ivy looks at me "dad what do they mean by you being his boyfriend?" She asks me
"Uh.. don't you mind that" I reply nervously.
Lock and key are arguing again and the other two are fighting as well.
The red haired girl yells at the orange haired boy "JUST BECAUSE YOU WERE BORN BEFORE ME DOESNT MEAN YOURE THE BOSS OF ME JASON!" She yells.
I sigh and get up, walk over to lock and sit next to him.
I smile and think " maybe keykey is right. Maybe I do Love Lock."
I look at the four merpeople arguing about me and one of them. I laugh to myself.
   Maybe they are like normal
