*sips tea* what a gr8 day

i had an awesome day today

I woke up this morning and made myself some eggs and sat down to catch up on aphmau episodes and to draw

then the rest of my family woke up and said we could go to barnes and noble

so i grabbed my $125 worth of gift cards and hopped in the car

i got the Dear Evan Hansen script book, A paperback copy of the Giver, and the new Unwanteds book!

Then we called my friend Indigo and her family and we met up at this cute little place downtown.

It was a bar for adults in the back, but up front it was a used book library! All the beers on tap had names that referenced books like The Clifford, Butterbeer, Charlie's Chocolate, or The Yellow Brick

It was so fun!

They also had board games so we grabbed Apples to Apples and played three rounds with her family.

My sister didn't know what Hiroshima was so when the card Hot was pulled she randomly threw it down

WE DIED LAUGHING

But it was super nice and we had a lot of fun!

We made plans to go over to their house for dinner and said goodbye

My sister and mom had a girl scout cookie booth at our neighborhood grocery store and my dad had a meeting, so I was home alone for two hours! I spent that time drawing, watching youtube, and listening to music

i also could move because my dog was on my lap

when my fam got home we went to Indigo's house and had an awesome time

our sister's played while we sketched, talked, listened to music, and wrote more ideas for in my dreams!

we have this running joke with this lizard LPS that we messed around with last time. Basically my sister wanted us to all play so we chose a bunch of characters and he was a throwaway. I picked him up and was like, "I'll find some use for him."

I set him up a little "shop" in one of their cubby shelves in their playroom and called it his "business"

there were some other throwaway characters that I turned into employees and it got pretty funny.

Now you're probably wondering, "What did he sell"

everything

we had princess statues, insect figurines, toy food, caged animals, caged employees, evil step mom, mario, mcdonalds toys, pokemon figures, YOU NAME IT

he also wore a shady fadora

we also named him Lucifer

it was Lucifer's Pawn Shop

now he's a huge inside joke XD

I even drew him with his catch phrase

"NO TOUCHA MI SHOP!"

so yeah, today was fun
