-Kawaii-Chan's POV-

"So, what do you wanna do first?" Zane politely asked, trying to smile.

It must be hard not having to hide your facial expression.

"Um- I don't know, I-It seems like there's nothing to do in this town," I told him.

There really wasn't, it was a big place, but a small town.

95% of that town were mountains and foothills.

The remaining 5% was the town.

"I'll do whatever you want to do," I said.

"Well, I was thinking of going for a hike," He said.

What?

I tried to hide the shocked expression on my face.

Zane had never been an athletic person, not even in high school.

Something really had changed.

"S-Sure!" I replied attempting to be calm.

Zane gave me a compassionate look as he started crossing the street.

I caught up to him and the rest of the trip was silent.

We kept stopping at gas stations for directions, but as we got closer,  the number of gas stations and shitty motels decreased.

We finally reached some large hill covered in trees but a clear field at the top.

"This looks good," Zane exclaimed.

We started lightly trekking the hill, dodging trees in our path.

Once we reached the grassy acreage at the top, Zane laid down on his back, his jacket tied around his waist.

"Hey Zane," I said.

"Yea,"

"I'm so sorry,"

"For what Nana?"

"About last night..."

"You don't have to be sorry. I mean, we both enjoyed it for the time being, I hope."

I did.

"But what if someone heard us Zane," I pleaded.

"If they did, so what? It's a hotel."

"I see what you're saying, but still,"

"Don't worry about it." Zane gave me an emphatic laugh.

"I-I just-" I struggled to say.

He kissed me.
