-Travis's POV-

Lucinda and Katelyn were looming over me, their shadows like cold blankets.

"Did I do it again?" I asked, tears flowing from my eyes.

"Yes. Katelyn, show him your arm." Lucinda sadly told me.

Katelyn extended her arm and showed me three cuts on her forearm.

She was crying, too.

"Y-You forced m-me to kiss you," She said.

"And if I didn't, you w-would cut me." She suddenly burst into tears.

Great.

Just as she had warmed up to me again, HE had to come out.

Now she would never want to kiss me again.

That wasn't what I was worried about though, Katelyn is more important.

"Katelyn, you need to leave." I told her.

"Huh? Why!?"

"Because you're not safe with me."

"But- I have to take care of you!"

"Someone else will. You matter more than me. You being safe comes above everything else."

"Travis... what about-"

I raised a finger to her mouth.

"I'll be fine." I gave her smile that meant I won't be.

"You can move!" She exclaimed.

"I- can move!" I yelled, overjoyed.

"Him being able to move probably isn't anything to be happy about," Lucinda said, dampening the mood.

"Why not?" Katelyn asked, intrigued.

"Because it's a sign that the demon inside of him is taking more control over his body."

"Oh."

"But Travis is right, Katelyn. You should leave."

"But I need to stay with him!"

"Katelyn, I'm hurting you. Abusing you, even. I don't want to hurt you any longer."

"You should move into my room for now," Lucinda told her, in a sisterly way.

Katelyn new it was true, but didn't want to believe it.

"Fine. But I'm still coming over to give you tea,"

"You can visit him, but only on small visits with me, Katelyn." Lucinda said.

"W-What? You're treating him like he's horrible! He's my boyfriend for Irene's sake!"

Lucinda and I gasped at the suggestive accusation.

"I mean... I'm not-" Katelyn said as a scarlet colour flushed her face.

"Anyway, you need to stay away from him.As much as possible."

Katelyn started packing up her tea.

Lucinda caught on, grabbing her teas and stuffing them in.

"Lucinda, Ginkgo Biloba tea goes in the DEPRESSION/MENTAL HEALTH folder!"

"My apologies! Am I supposed to know exotic teas?"

"Yes!"

Katelyn left quickly, she only had a few things to put away.

"Bye Katelyn,"

"Bye, Travis."
