-Katelyn's POV-
Zane and Kim left an hour ago to find Kawaii-Chan, and haven't returned.
When Zane and Kim walked in, Kim looked tired while Zane seemed ready to look again.
“Why are you guys here?” Zane complained.
“We didn’t want anyone else to be taken as Ein’s slave,” I explained.
“I’m going to bed.” Zane said, and I agreed.
“Wait! Katelyn!” Kim yelled after me.
“What?” I asked her.
“Ghost and I came up with a theory.”
“Go on,”
“Ein is most likely the person who took Kawaii-Chan, so if Zane was his slave two years ago, that means he’s taking people who weren’t his slave two years ago.” Katelyn’s face had been elongating throughout the conversation.
“So that means…”
“I’m next.”
Katelyn welcomed me with a warm, forcefull embrace.
I wanted to tell her she was fine, but I knew I couldn't help.
