Part 1, Act 10, A/N

So, a quick authors note before this chapter.

I know people are gonna complain about this chapter being in Katelyn's POV, but I really can't think of anything else.

I also have a lot left to say about her, and a little more history of her mother.

But also I think I am legitimately going to shit with this 3 part act thing.

I don't care about the three part POV anymore.

I know my last chapter sounded a little rape-like, and that was really not my intention.

So I'm sorry if that hurt anyone, but there's story to that.

-Katelyn's POV-

Lucinda made me stay away from Travis today.

I tried to protest against her, but no matter what I did, she would always say no.

That girl really knows how to pick a fight!

I set up my cheap camp burner in her room, and prepared my tea.

I was making Gingko Biloba, a tea good for depression.

I thought back to how I feel about Travis, and remembered my claim that he was my "boyfriend".

I guess... It was the heat of the moment.

"Uhh... Katelyn? I think your water is over boiling." Lucinda said.

"W-What!?"

I checked the water, and, It was flowing out of the pot.

I poured the water over my infuser, and poured myself a cup.

"Want some, Lucy?" I taunted her.

I know how much she hates that name.

"I told you not to call me that!"

"Sure thing- Lucy."

A vein was bulging out of her head, angrily.

"I'm leaving if you're gonna fuckin' taunt me with that name!" She grabbed her purse and headed out of the door.

Perfect, I thought.

Time to see Travis.

I crept out of the room, walking slowly to Travis's door.

Balancing a tray of the tea, I cautiously turned the door knob.

"Travis?" I glanced throughout the bedroom.

And I didn't see him.
