Braces™ Reddie, 1

[ Part One; Eddie gets braces ] 

- alrightalright so Eds here misses a day of skool 

- the Losers are all vvvv worried bc hes such a teachers pet 

- hes never missed skool b4 

- they all called him and he never answered 

- he wasn't @ school the next day either so they were getting scared 

[ - Richie the most obviously ] 

- so the next next day Eddie comes to school 

- every1 was super happy 

- but Eddie wasn't doing anything associated w his mouth 

- no talking, no laughing, no smiling 

[ - which was weird x2 bc he always raises his hand to be called on in class but he couldn't since he wasn't talking ] 

- so the Losers all walked home with him 

- they were getting worried again 

- Eddie couldn't help it 

- he laughed on accident when Mike called Bill mom [ by accident ] 

- they all heard him but Richie was the only one who watched him 

- so he saw this sparkling in the sunlight 

- he couldn't tell what it was bc Eddie closed his mouth quick after that 

- so Richie here eye contacted all the Losers to get Eddie to laugh 

- they understood 

- he eventually laughed again when Ben tripped over Stan and they both went mf flying 

- he covered his mouth w his hand 

- Richie saw the glint again, so he grabbed Eddie's hand and pulled it down 

- Eds was still smiling so every1 saw them 

- he had these baby pink braces on 

- ' I'm sorry guys, please don't hate me, i was trying to hide them the whole day because they look weird and I'm sorry that theyre pink and I'm sorry that i have them and - ' 

- Eddie was rambling so Bev just shut him up with a finger to his lips 

- ' its okay Eddie! they look super super super cute, you don't have to hide that type of stuff from us, okay? it doesn't make you any different ' 

- Eddie just smiled, showing the braces 

- Richie was just sitting there, staring at him and noticing how well it complimented his sweater and his high tops and his cheeks 

- once every1 left for their separate houses, Richie & Eddie were the only ones left 

- so Richie took the chance 

- he just grabbed Eddie's hands and smashed their lips together 

- he was surprised that Eddie kissed back 

- Richie pulled away like an h o u r later and winks @ Eds, who is now completely flustered 

- ' the braces look cute on you, Eds, Bev's always right '

- and with that he left

Bonus: 

- Richie went back to his house later and looked in the mirror

- he saw lipstick on his mouth and realised that he didn't put it on
