he usually hates getting high because he thinks its kind of gross but when his beautiful, kind, caring, puppy-dog-eyed girlfriend bev tells him to he fucking will. so ben is just really spaced out when hes high,, and i mean literally,,,, he'll pull mike or bev or stan along with him and lie down on the grass with them and point out all of the constellations and their names and their stories and moral of the story ben hanscom is a soft babe no matter what -

richie
is really sleepy and clingy??? like he'll go up to eddie and just throw his arms over his shoulders and put his nose in the crook of eddie's neck and eddie is just goddamnitrichienowisnotthetimeformetobegay but richie sinks to the ground and pulls eddie with him and just makes eddie sit down and richie is lying down cuddling into eddie's side + closing his eyes and running his hands through eddie's hair and the other losers are just like jfc theyre so gay -

eddie
he acts like hes high when hes high. he'll grab bill or richie by the arm and lean on them for support but lead them to the edge of the quarry and just be like "rich what d'you thnk would h'ppen 'f like i-i bought like a g'raffe like wud it eat me oh waiiiit no 't wouldn't becus g'raffes 're leafatarians right" or sometimes he'll say some deep shit and everyone looks at him like he is god reincarnated [but its mostly crazy crap] and hes like a five-year-old running/rolling around in the grass and someone always has to be watching him because who knows what he would do unsupervised -

mike
is like– really,, talented? when hes high? like ofc mike is a talented bitch any day but he'll go off into the middle of a field somewhere by himself and make these amazing flower crowns for everyone and then place them on everyones head & theyre all in a w e because whatthefuck, or he'll grab richie's old radio [which richie brings with him everywhere] and turn the dials until he finds a channel with a song he likes and he'll just find a huge rock and stand on it and sing his heart out -

he's a goddamn daredevil when hes high,, like he'll rip off his shirt and his shoes and just fucking zoom over the quarry cliff and everyone screams and runs and looks over the edge to see him standing up in the shallow part of the lake beneath them with his hands in fists in the air like he's rocky balboa or maybe he takes silver and hikes up the top of a hill with it and just plops down on the seat and blasts down the hill screaming -

is really talkative when shes high. like, shell tap stan on the shoulder and pull him down to sit on a rock and just go on a rant about how whether or not caterpillars know that they turn into butterflies or how mufasa could have tricked scar and made him fall off the cliff instead and stan just has to sit there nodding the whole time and trying to look interested but truly he wants to know where the hell she gets these conversation starters from -

stan
is probably the least affected when hes high. for the most part hes the same as he usually is, like he'll get his journal and start recording his birds down and adding more facts to old pages,, but if he finds a new bird species that he hasn't seen before/isn't in his journal hes going to scream and hunt it down until he can get it in the perfect angle to draw it,, like he'll whistle and hoot and jump up and down with his arms flapping around like a maniac and the others are standing to the side wondering if he needs help -
