Now, everywhere you go and everything you do, you’re being watched. But, you come to find, the man behind the hauntings doesn’t want to be cursed anymore than you want him watching you. He is trapped and broken, more haunted by his own past than you are of him. You agree to help him escape, but will you wanting to help him soon have other motives?
(Y/N)= Your Name
(BF/N)= Boyfriend’s Name (Lol make someone up)
~~~
Many people brushed past you as you traveled down the somehow lonely yet busy street. Hands tucked into your pockets and coat upturned against the wind, you just wanted to go home so you continued your tiring trek.
You wanted to be happy, but after a long and tiring day, you really didn’t have any energy left in order to have a positive attitude. You thought maybe your boyfriend would have answered your texts to see if he wanted to meet up for dinner, but looking down at your phone, you saw that the message had been read but not answered.
You bit your lip when you saw this and stuffed your phone back in your pocket in sadness. You knew in high school that when all the snobby girls had boyfriends, they would immediately dump them if they ignored their calls once. You would never do that, in fact you felt lucky to have a boyfriend at all. Of course, that didn’t stop the fact that he hadn’t been himself around you lately, becoming very distant and even a little cold.
Speaking of cold, your ears suddenly began to sting from the weather so you covered them with the palms of your hands in hopes to warm them.
“Brr,” you shivered, teeth chattering against the wind.
It was then that you passed a phone booth, a rarity in the modern world. There were a few in the busy city you walked through everyday, but you had never needed to use one due to always having your cell phone. It seemed as if it were so unused that the door may not open due to rust.
A sudden ringing flooded your ears right before you walked away, causing you to freeze in place and jump in surprise. Was that… the phone booth? You turned back to look at it again just as the ringing started up once more. It was indeed coming from the empty booth. You walked back a little out of curiosity, angry people upset when you brushed past them and interrupted the flow.
