Chapter 1

Amy & Ricky (Amy's POV)

As the car pulled up to the airport the question in my mind happens, Did I do the right thing? Should I have stayed here and been with Ricky? 

"Amy you ready?" Anne says as they pull up.

"I don't know. Did I do the right thing? I love Ricky I do but..." I couldn't finish. I just want someone to tell me what to do.

"Then go back and be with him and your son," George says.

"George she doesn't know if thats the right thing for her and it should be about Amy," Anne replies.

"Right now, I think I should go. If I decide to get off to the plane or if I get to New York and hate it or miss John I will come back," I explain.

"That sounds fair Amy," Anne says.

I open the car door and step out. I look at the airport and I think to myself I really do love Ricky I am in love with him. I know I made a mistake I just don't know if it is too late to turn around and head back to the apartment. 

I want to try to go to Hudson University. I want to try to go to Summer School. If I cant do it, I will come back. I just want to try.

I start to walk in the airport. I check in...go through security...get food all the usual stuff you do at the airport.

I at last get to my gate. I sit down and take out my journal. I start to write about my feelings and how scared I am. I write about all the memories Ricky and I have. 

I think back to the first time I met him at band camp.

I think back to when I had John

I think back to when I got back from New York the first time and we had our "first" original date with John.

I think back to when Ricky proposed at graduation.

I think back to after Ricky and I "eloped" and we arrived at the hotel for our honeymoon

When having these flashbacks. Right their...Right then. I realize. I do love Ricky no I am in love with Ricky. I have to go back for him.

I get up and start running through the airport to the main entrance when I run into Ricky.
