Were you meant to see what you did? Were you at the wrong place and the wrong time? Yes to all of the above.

"What did you do?" You whispered to your boyfriend who, in front of you, killed one of the fellow students whom you knew from school. He turned around, not realising you were there until you had spoken.

"You shouldn't be here Y/N." Theo replied angrily but soon his face turned guilty and white when he saw you break down.

"You just killed an innocent kid Theo." You cried, rushing down to the down deceased body, in hope, some way, you could bring him back to life.

"You're working with them aren't you?" You questioned him. Theo knelt down beside you and tried to wrap and arm around you but you violently shrugged him off of you. His eyes began to water.

"The dread doctors Theo! The goddamn dread doctors, who have killed so many already. You're working with them? What if they tell you to kill me next? Are you just gonna plunge a sword into my chest or even put a bullet through my skull?" You continued.

"Don't you think I know what I've done Y/N?!" He raised his voice.

"Don't you think I know how much of a monster I've been? I get portrayed as a monster, I was given the name before I had killed anyone. It's not even me killing them, it's my mind, I swear it's my mind." He repeated, tears falling down his face.

"They're forcing you too kill people, aren't they?" You had so many questions on your mind that needed answering.

"Every single day." He mumbled, looking anywhere but your eyes. You sat down beside him while he sobbed.

"I'm a monster. I'm a killer." Was all he kept saying.

"No, no you're not." You told him, unexpectedly his head dropped down into your lap while he continued to cry. You ran a peaceful finger through his hair.

"We need to get out of here Theo, before they come back, before anyone sees us next to a dead body." You told him and the both of you sprinted to your car and you drove as far away from the crime scene as you could. Finally you had pulled into an empty parking lot.

"You haven't said anything since we left." Theo spoke up.

"It makes two of us." You replied, switching the car off and turning your head to look at him. His eyes had grown swollen from all the crying.

"It's because I'm a monster." He muttered.

"Stop saying that Theo! You've been brainwashed, you're everything but a monster. You're not thinking straight and neither are those dread doctors, clearly. You need to stop being an asshole to people so they can like you rather than think you're a monster. I know you babe, I can read you like a book. Before all of this supernatural crap, you were the guy who wouldn't hurt anyone intentionally, you never had it in you." You grabbed his hand.

"And for those who really see you as a monster need a reality check. Yeah, you've killed people, but no, you didn't plan or intend on doing it. You were forced and I'm gonna do everything I can to help you out of this. Even if I am a weak little nugget." You smiled trying to lighten up the mood.

"You're my weak little nugget, and I love you so much." He placed a gentle, yet passionate kiss to your lips.

"I love you too. So very much." You reassured him.
