A calming thing for you was to run through the forest after a long day of hard-work. Beacon Hills was a new scenery to you and the nature was quite different to where you had come from. There were many new faces too take in as well. So far, you had met the Sheriff who had a dorky but really kind son and the principle of Beacon Hills High, Miss Martin who had a smart and beautiful daughter.

"Let's do this." You whispered to yourself and began running. Within five minutes, you had made it to the middle, and it was quite hidden, there was even a structure of a burnt down house, but you didn't want to check it out, so you looked at it from afar. Suddenly, someone barged into you.

"Um excuse you." The guy turned around at your voice, and ended the call on his phone.

"What the hell are you doing this far out in the woods anyway?" He asked rudely, and you raised an eyebrow at how he could be so cruel to a person he had just bumped into.

"I like running, what's your excuse?" You questioned and he laughed pathetically at you.

"That's my house, so get away from it." He snapped, getting angrier, but you weren't scared, you didn't really fear many things and a random stranger wasn't going to be one of them.

"Leave!" He boomed, his eyes glowing, fangs appearing and claws coming out of his fingertips, then it was your turn to laugh at him. He turned back into 'human' form and he looked at you confused.

"A werewolf huh? Doesn't faze me sweet-heart." You laughed.

"And I suppose you know about the supernatural because?" He questioned and you flashed your red alpha eyes at him, and he stepped back.

"You're an alpha? How could I not sense that on you?" He muttered to himself, not sounding as rude as he was previously.

"Clearly you're not as clever as what you've portrayed yourself as. Now if you'll excuse me, I want to finish my run." You told him, starting to run off but he stopped you.

"Where is your pack?" He questioned.

"Scattered across Beacon Hills, where are your manners?" You smirked, and to your shock, he chuckled slightly.

"Feisty women-werewolf, not bad. I'm not the nicest, that house over there, yeah, my family got burnt alive. I chose to live in there, so I'm still with them. The names Hale, Derek Hale." He reached his hand out to shake yours, and you hesitantly shook it.

"Y/N Y/L/N. I'm a new member to this town." You admitted.

"I gathered that much, what brings you to a crappy town like this anyway? It's not that great, and the supernatural creatures are pretty horrible." As if you hadn't heard that one before.

"Nothing this place throws at me will change my views on staying here. I've seen it and heard it all before Hale, I wouldn't be surprised if a goddamn angel fell from the sky right before our very eyes." You smiled. For a dude who you had met, just ten minutes ago, he didn't seem like the jerk he was.

"I've never seen an angel, well until ten minutes ago that is." He tried so hard with his pickup line.

"Smooth one. I'm not that easy Derek, maybe I'll see you around and you can work on the whole flirting game." You told him, and you heard his heart-beat faster as you placed a kiss to his cheek.

"Who would've thought that you were an asshole ten minutes ago? I'll see you around." You waved him off. He was left stunned, praying he was going to bump into you again soon.
