Of course Angel commented on my necklace, it was and Angel. Unlike him...Ha...

Brianna brought up the topic of what we did on our first date. Angel replied first, "We went to the cliffs."

The cliffs were a common place to go in  our little town. We had so many forests and caves but only one cliff range that lead into the ocean. Te way they became famous was a teen committed suicide by jumping off.  Harsh. But true.

"Angel, how did you ever convince this hot chick to go out with some one like...well, who is like you?" I gaped at her. "Is it like an opposites attract type of thing.. or....?" I raised an eyebrow closing my mouth wondering what she was thinking.

"Opposites attract...?" he said questioning whether or not he said the wrong answer. He lifted his arm to my shoulders, but I stood up and jumped on the trampoline with a triumphant smile and said, "Now, to be fair, if I don't get a kiss, you don't get to touch me."

He gave a devilish smile. it made my heat sputter out of control. I was breathless. I could breath,  but it was hard. Someone call an ambulance! He was so hot I was going to die of heat stroke. I hadn't a clue how I hadn't met him or fallen this hard sooner. I felt like there was a stone on my chest when he looked up at me and Brianna giggled.

"I am just going to leave the two of you alone; and Sever, " she called over her shoulder walking away. I crossed my legs in the air and sat down when I landed. Angel reached for my hand, but I pulled it away, no kiss, no touchy- touchy. "Don't do anything... too stupid. " she flashed a smile at me. it wasn't as heart wrenching as Angel's.

"You were serious?" he questioned me again.

"Give me a kiss and I will let you hold me again." I leaned over to him and rested my head on my hands. He looked down at me from under his thick long hair. I saw tints of brown, but it was mostly jet black hair. I reached my right hand up and tugged on his left snake bite until his head ducked down and leveled with me. I could hear his heart beat. He leaned his head forward, I could no longer see his eyes, his hair covered them.

His head moved past my cheek, until his lips were at my ear.

Hyperventilating much? I thought to myself.

I calmed my breathing and Spoke to him before he could speak to me. "What do you want to do now?" I asked knowing he wasn't going to kiss me. I had only been "dating him for a few weeks, I already knew a kiss wasn't in his style. Unfortunately.

"I want to sit here, and watch you, of all people, get nervous." I backed my head up and looked at him with an interrogating look. "When you're nervous, it makes me look good." He smirked and backed up. i backed up and shoved him with  a nervous laugh.

I stood up on the trampoline watching the sun set over the hills, I was bobbing up and down, but I hadn't jumped. I was waiting for Angel to stand before he had to try standing up with me bouncing. He would wobble and loose his balance. He hoped off the trampoline. I stopped bouncing. He turned to face me, pulling up his long sleeves to his band shirt, he walked back toward the trampoline. He put both hands on the edge and pushed himself up onto the trampoline. I watched him. I was the happiest person alive right now.

Then, like a thunderstorm on a good, happy day at the carnival, the football team came around the corner to most likely repair their quarter backs pride. Andrew, of course, lead the group of boys in t-shirt and football jackets. Purple and yellow, and ugly combination. Even with blond hair like most of the players. I pulled Angel onto the trampoline and pushed him behind me; he didn't know what was going on. I held both his hands to protect him and keep a piece of my mind, but I knew it would be useless.
