Taryn's Point Of View:

"Stop!" I screamed and darted up right in my bed. I panted for a moment or so, then came back into reality. Same nightmare. I had been having it since I woke up in the hospital. "I can't do this any longer." I whispered.

I climbed out of my zebra print sheets and blankets and put on my D.A.R.T.S. sweatshirt that I got from my sister. When she attended the Art Academy, she was entered into competitions, just like Sever, and was sent to the DARTS camp for artistic, and talented people. As much as I would love to believe that I am talented like Sabrina or Sever, I know I am not. I can do something they can't though, I can play guitar like a beast.

I grabbed my pink acoustic guitar and sunk downstairs. Dad was sleeping on the recliner and Mom was on the couch. I hadn't seen them in the same room, other than the hospital, since the night before Mom grabbed her keys and left.

~Flashback~

"No!" I heard Mom scream from downstairs. "I am DONE, Tim! I'm done!" I ran downstairs, they never got this loud.

"Shut-up, Taryn will hear you!"

"I don't care!"

"Sara, stop this!"

"Mom?" I chirped from the bottom of the stairs. Her blond hair flipped as she turned to me and whipped her cheeks. I never saw Mom cry before. "Go to bed, T." She turned back to Dad.

"Good-bye, Tim." She grabbed her purse, keys and walked out the door.

~End Flashback~

I hated that they separated themselves from each other. I missed the Christmases, the Thanksgivings, the holidays we all spent together.

I slink-ed past the couch and unplugged my phone. It chirped telling me it was charged, and I cringed. Mom and Dad didn't wake up. I continued to the door and got into my mother's car.

It was still late at night. I turned on the car and as soon as the engine turned over I gasped.

~Flashback~

I laughed and tossed my hair.

"Hurry up!" Christine called climbing into my compact car. I ran and slid over the hood like in cop movies. We wanted to go pick up her new boyfriend. Christine never had a boyfriend before, we were so excited to see him. I never met him, but apparently Christine and him talked a ton.

I turned on the car and drove down the driveway, I turned to the left, no cars. I turned to the right.

Christine screamed, I heard skidding tires, I felt a jolt and then pain.

~End Flashback~

I wiped my face. No time for tears now.

I put the guitar in the back seat and pulled down the driveway.

I drove to Sendler park. To the site Christine, Sever, Brianna, and I were going to marry our husbands at one day. It was a large flower clearing. Had a few log benches and arching trees.

I sat on the bench right in the middle of the clearing leaving the car headlights on so I could see. I set my phone down next to me, and started playing a song that reminded me that I would be okay.

I will follow you into the dark by death cab for cutie.

I hit every not needed for that song. But the lyrics meant more to me.
