It happens quite often, that a woman won't speak. A girl's loudest cry is her silence. But sometimes, in more frequent occasions, words are a stronger cry. But, some people and living things cannot speak.

Trees cannot speak, mutes cannot speak, and unborn children cannot speak either. I didn't know how to care for a child. I didn't know how to tell my mother, or my boy friend who is slipping away. I was loosing everything.

I sat on the hood of my car, waiting at the cliffs. I had my hand around my stomach, clutching it violently. I was so afraid.

I didn't know what to do. I always knew what to do.

My phone started going off, so I picked it up and answered.

"Sever," Angel's voice was hesitant.

"Angel, hey!"

"We need to talk...?" He asked.

"Yeah, I was wondering... could we do this in person?"

"Sure, meet me in the clearing near the cliffs?" He asked.

"Sure thing!"

He hung up without even saying goodbye.

I drove me car speedily to the clearing to see him. When I made it, I saw him standing there waiting. Hair covering his gorgeous eyes, long sleeved shirt, baggy pants.

I stopped the engine and quickly got out, running to him. I slammed my body into his embracing him in a hug that was long overdue.

"You have no idea how much I've missed being here." I told him.

"Missed being where?" he asked returning the embrace. He carefully placed his hands on my lower back and shoulder region.

"In your arms." I answered.

"I missed you too." My heart fluttered. He barely spoke to me since the graveyard. "Did you have to tell me something?" He asked.

"Yeah..." I hesitated. I didn't want to loose him again. "Angel... I'm..."

"You're...?" He pushed the subject.

"I love you, you know that, but I'm..." I paused. I said the "L" word. Maybe it would help...?

"Tell me, Sever."

"I'm pregnant..."

I felt his chest tensen up and his arms around me dropped. I didn't let go of him.

"Let me go, Sever."

"I didn't mean for it to happen, I swear!" I held him tightly.

"Let me go, Sever."

I did as he asked. I took a few steps back to distance him from me.

I closed my eyes. That was all I could do. I was so scared. And he had left me all alone because he thought I was lying. I wasn't lying. I really did love him. I wanted him to help me, protect me and make sure no one ever tried to hurt me and that was exactly what he wished upon me.

"I hope you choke. All those things you said, I hope you choke on them." he pointed an intimidating finger at me. " You lied, and cheated." He flung his arm toward me and turned his back, like it would make me go away. I was a lot stronger than that. Clearly; he just couldn't take a hint.

"That is what you have to say to me? You hope I choke? I wont choke, there isn't anything that I broke, and I didn't cheat! why do you so strongly believe that, Angel?!" I called after him. I didn't want him to walk away.

"I saw you kiss Andrew!" he yelled turning on me and coming leaning close to my body. "I loved you, Sever. Not. Anymore." His voice was quiet then. Softer, but it hurt me. The words smashed my heart like a glass plate smashed against the cement pavement.
