In Florida, a horrific school shooting took place last month. Today, schools all over the nation decided to stage walk outs, where we would either walk off campus or to a designated place on campus to peacefully protest gun violence.
I took part in the one at my school and thankfully it was not taken as a joke. It was everything I had hoped. It was a silent cry for justice.
Now, some people have been arguing over the topic of gun control and I am no idiot. I don't think we're going to ban guns, and that's not what I am suggesting. This was a snapchat I sent to many confused individuals at my school.
