[Izuku Midoriya x Reader] Animal Girl pt. 2

After all the chaos that had recently unfolded, U.A. asked its students to move into dorms. You were quite excited about this because it meant you could spend more time with your classmates. It also made it a lot easier to steal Midoriya's sweaters. However, that wasn't your mission for today. Today was operation: Get dirt on Midoriya to tease him with later.

You sat in your room, trying to decide what animal you wanted to change into. Eventually, you had decided on a cat. You cracked your door open, so it was just barely open. You then walked to the centre of your room before transforming into an adorable, black kitten. You crawled out of your clothes, leaving them on the floor for you to change back into later, before sneaking out of your room. You had to leave the door ajar or you wouldn't haven been able to paw it open.

You walked through the corridors of the dormitories, trying to find your favourite green-haired boy, but it wasn't until you reached the commons area that you found him, sitting on the couch in his favourite hoodie.

You trotted towards Izuku, hopping onto his lap, giving him quite a scare. After the broccoli boy had calmed down, he realised it was a cat sitting on his lap. He began to pet the top of your head before muttering, "How did you get in here, hm?"

You meowed in response, earning a chuckle from Midoriya. You internally smiled. You loved making him laugh. It was one of the many things you loved about him. You meowed again before rubbing yourself against his chest. He smiled and continued to pet you. Just as you started to purr and get comfortable, he picked you up and placed you on the coffee table in front of him. You meowed in confusion.

He said, "I know you can't understand me, but do you think you could help me out? There's this girl I like, but I'm not sure how to tell her."

Suddenly, Ochako walked into the room, "Hey, Deku? Have you seen Y/n anywhere? I wanted to go get ice cream, and she'd usually join me. I went to her room, but she wasn't there. Just a pile of clothes on the floor."

"U-uh no, sorry Ochako," answered Midoriya.

Then, the brunette noticed the cat on the table, "Hey what's with the cat- wait a minute..."

You sent her a look, telling her to keep quiet. She knew all about your love of pranks.

"Oh, this cat? She, well I think it's a she, approached me a few minutes ago. I don't know where she came from."

"Is that so?" responded Uraraka, "Well, if you see Y/n let her know I'm looking for her."

After Ochako left the room, Izuku turned back to the cat.

"Now, I hope you don't mind, but I'm going to practice confessing on you."

You tilted your furry head. You were excited because you'd finally get some dirt on the green haired boy, but you couldn't help but feel your heart sink.

He cleared his throat and checked to make sure no one was nearby before beginning, "Y/n, we've been best friends for a while, and I don't want to ruin that, but I need to tell you something. I really like you, a-and more than just as a friend."

You sat there, frozen.

"Well? How was that?" he asked. He paused before face palming, "What am I saying? You can't understand me."

You hopped off the table and onto his lap, snuggling into his sweater. You couldn't risk blowing your cover by just running off.

The green haired boy chuckled, "You really like this sweater, don't you? It actually reminds me off Y/n. Wait a minute..."

You immediately froze. He picked you up and looked you in the eye.

"Ochako said that Y/n's clothes were just on the floor. When she transforms, her clothes don't change," he paused, his face growing red, "Please tell me this isn't you, Y/n."

You meowed before squirming out of his arms and scurrying towards your dorm, leaving a very shocked and embarrassed Izuku. When you arrived at your dorm, Ochako was standing there waiting for you.

"Well hello Y/n~" she said in a sing-song voice.

You meowed at her, and she giggled as she opened the door for you. You hurried inside, quickly transforming and putting your clothes back. You called Ochako into the room.

"What is it? Did you find any good teasing material?" she asked excitedly.

You shook your head violently.

"Oh?" the brunette tilted her head in confusion, "What happened?"

"Obviously, he thought I was a cat, and so he practised asking the girl he likes out on me, thinking I was a cat. BUT HE LIKES ME!"

Ochako smiled, "I already knew that."

"WHAT!" you screeched before continuing, "Anyway, he realised it was me, so I scurried off."

Suddenly, there was a knock on the door.

"I'll get it~" sang Uraraka.

She poked her head out and you could faintly hear, "Is y/n there?"

The brunette fully opened the door, revealing Midoriya. Ochako piped in, "Well, I'll be in my dorm if you need me. Bye!"

And with that she rushed out of the room, leaving you and Izuku alone.

"W-what's up, Izu?" you asked, trying to sound innocent.

He sighed, "I know you were the cat, y/n."

"Pft, whaat? What cat?"

He looked you in the eye, "If you don't like me, just say it."

Your shoulders fell, your eyes widened, and your mouth gaped ever so slightly.

"Izuku," you began softly, not in your usual playful tone.

The green haired boy turned to face the door, "That's what I thought."

"No!" you exclaimed, "I do like you! I was just surprised, that's all."

You had grasped his hand with both of yours to stop him from leaving.

"R-really?" and just like that he was back to his usual blushing self.

You smiled brightly and nodded, causing Midoriya to blush an even deeper shade of red.

He fumbled over words, stuttering out incomprehensible bits.

A faint blush appeared on your own cheeks before you leaned in and gave him a quick peck on the lips. Unfortunately, it backfired and the poor boy fainted. You couldn't help but giggle at his adorable embarrassment.
