{11} I Choose You

3rd Person POV

Mia was in the area with the weapons on the table. She placed her hands on the table.She was panting and letting her tears fall. Mia removed her scarf and held onto Chuck's item that was around her neck. She closes her eyes and kissed it. Mia quickly wipes her tears using her jacket sleeve.

"Mia? Hey, what's wrong?" Thomas questioned, holding onto her hands and she removed it

"I just wanna be alone, Tom." Mia said as she sniffled. "It's none of your concern."

"Are you kidding me right now? Mia, I'm your boyfriend. You're my number one priority." Thomas said to her

Mia asked him, "Oh really now? Answer this, Thomas. What happened between you and Teresa?"

"Seriously, Mia? Again?" Thomas asked her

Mia nods her head, "Yes, of course."

"You're still onto Teresa and I up to now?" Thomas said and Mia replied, "Yes!"

"Why can't you listen to a single thing I say?! There's nothing going on between me and Teresa. Why can't you just trust and believe me?" Thomas said to her

"Because Teresa's in love with you, Tom! She has feelings for you." Mia said to him

"So what, if she is, Mia? I'm in love with you. Not Teresa." Thomas replied. "You're the only girl out there for me."

"You still didn't answer the question." Mia said to him

"Mia-"

"Just answer the question."

"Mia-"

"Thomas, just answer the damn question!"

"Mia, let me talk! Are you even listening to me?!"

"Just answer the question!"

"Okay, fine! You really wanna know, Mia?" Thomas said to her

Mia nodded her head, "Yeah, stop avoiding the question. Just answer it."

"Teresa and I kissed but that was before I got sent up into the maze and when they took you away from me." Thomas said and saw the water in her eyes

"I knew it. I didn't wanna believe it. But I had a feeling that it was true. Something did happen between the two of you." Mia replied

Thomas explained, "That's because I couldn't get you out of my head. My heart, my body, everything was just numb without you, Mia."

"What more do you want from me? Do you know how hard it was to forcibly live my life without you in it?" He asked her

"I just want you to be honest with me, Tom. I thought you said we're done keeping secrets from each other. Everything you said was a lie, okay? I believed you, Tom! I believed in us, how the hell am I supposed to trust you if you're keeping secrets like this?" Mia snapped

Thomas responded, "What about you and Newt?"

"What the hell are you talking about?" Mia asked. "Newt is one of the best guys that I know. What the hell is your problem?"

"I saw you and Newt talking on the roof. Laughing and smiling." Thomas said to her

Mia rolled her eyes and scoffed, "Tom, what the hell is wrong with me talking to Newt? Newt and I always have our talks. There's nothing wrong with that."

"Yeah, but you could go to him to talk about your problems instead of going to your own boyfriend." Thomas said back

Mia responded, "You don't get it, Thomas. Look, I'm sorry if you feel offended for me going to Newt instead of you but what Newt and I have is different compared to what we have. Is this how little you think of me?"
