Past POV

Yurio loved his father. His father taught him fighting, self defence and many other sports and hobbies.
One day, Yurio, his mother and his father decided to take him to the doctors to find out his second gender early at only 12 years old.
His father squeezed his hand reassuringly, and his mother smiled happily.
The doctor re-entered the room with his clipboard, grinning and joining in the family's happiness.
"Congratulations" everyone held their breath in anticipation.
"Your son is an alpha."

Present POV

"Yurio." Yurio was snapped out of his thoughts by Otabeks voice.
"You okay?" He asked.
"Fine" Yurio replied.
He sighed and sat down on the sofa next to the teen, who was back to staring out the window, chin in hand, unfocused.
Otabek took Yurio's hand in his, and squeezed in reassuringly.
His father squeezed his hand reassuringly.
Yurio flinched at turned to look at Otabek, eyes wide in shock.
