Chapter 11

"Oh look, it's the boy who I broke up with. Such a shame that I fell for someone else."

"So you were playing Ash the whole time?" I asked, and Misty totally ignored my comment.

"She's feisty, I like it," Misty commented, twirling her orange hair with her pointer finger. "Such a shame that Ash Ketchum needed someone like... her, to get him out of his soon-to-be-depression."

"Depression? I want getting into a depression," Ash giggled. "And besides, if I was my overprotective mom would've found out."

"And send you to a mental hospital, right where you belong."

"He doesn't belong in a mental hospital," I growled. "In fact, I'm surprised how hypocritical that statement is."

"I'm so hurt," Misty chuckled. "I honestly don't care about insults."

"If you didn't then you wouldn't say that, I know people."

"Oh no! Now I have to move to another continent to move out of here - I need a ship!"

"No ship, Sherlock," Ash laughed. "Sorry I saw that joke on a weird garden gnomes movie I had to say it..."

"That doesn't even make any since," Misty said, facepalming. "And besides, none of that trash could be put on this beautiful human being."

"You'll only have a 1% chance at being beautiful in a horror movie," I called, and Misty looked mad.

"WHAT DID YOU JUST SAY?" Misty screamed.

"Oooooo, burn!" Ash chuckled.

"I remember Ash saying something like that to me around 6 years ago when we were on our journey around Kanto!" Misty yelled. "And I will not let anyone burn me ever again!"

Misty then pulled out a metal mallet that was on her blackened belt, and then Ash and I screamed, "RUNNNNN!!" And parted ways for the night.

I think Ash and I have been developing a greater bond, we're both probably really good friends now. If one of us didn't come to school the other would be upset, which means that we're great friends.

"I'll hold Misty off, just go to your house!" Ash called.

"Just run, it doesn't matter, we're going to the same place," I yelled back, and Ash kept up the pace. "We're right around the corner!"

"Alright!"

I then saw my house, and quickly ran inside, shut the door, and locked it. I heard Ash do the same. Misty was running after us, but she stopped and ran the other way. Silly silly Misty, you didn't think you'd get away with whacking us with a metal mallet, did you?

Group chat:

Ash added Serena, May, Drew, Paul, Gary, Misty, Iris, Cilan, Lillie, Lana, Mallow, Gladion, and 10 more to the group chat.

Ash: Wanna go to the school so we can think of a way to save Dawn?

Mallow: Sounds good to me!

Gladion: Lillie was my partner so it matters if she comes or not.

Lillie: Of course I'll come!

Me: I'll always come if there's a friend that needs saving.

Misty: Stop bickering, she's just a person.

Gary: She's a person worth saving, so Misty and I will come.

Ash: Nice Gary 😏

Me: Alright stop talking...

Calem: I'm gone for like a minute and I'm spammed with like 100 notifications!?!?!?!

Ash: 😝🤩😝🤩😝

I then put my phone down. I'll need to get ready to go to school then, and I'll have to tell my mom. I got out my signature outfit and put it on. It has a pink hat with a black strip around the rim with a little black bow on the right. A blackish grayish tank top laid on my chest, and a red skirt swung around my legs. To top it all off, I got my grey leggings with a pair of black shoes.

I reached at my phone, and I saw the last notification:

Ash: I'm coming early so if anyone wants to meet up you can come.
Just now

In response I texted:

Me: I'm coming!

I then jolted out the door of my bedroom. My hands got cold because of the metal railing again, but I didn't care. I had to run as fast as I possibly can to get to Ash right now, I want to try to beat him.

Like that would happen.

Right in front of me I saw a young gentlemen with raven-black hair waving at me with his hazel eyes, and then running to the quartz Kanto College.
