Ash and I were in English class

Ash and I were in English class. It was Monday of the next week, and we were all happy and cheery... yeah right. Ash and I were probably the only ones. We just finished our rough draft.

"Are you going to type it or am I?" Ash asked, as he went to grab a computer.

"I'm a faster typer than you, so if we want it to go faster probably me," I suggested, while Ash sat down at our table.

"Alright, sounds great!" He smiled.

I then started typing out our essay.

"The Pokemon Contest is a well-known after school club here at Kanto College. Our contest has been different than most's.

We didn't like each other at the start. Serena was always yib-yabbering about Misty breaking up with me. I honestly thought she was just being a fan girl who was wanting to be my girlfriend because Misty broke up with me. Most people would say that...

But I didn't. In fact, I just wanted to make sure that Ash was okay..."

"It's awesome! When we present it we'll just have to make sure that the paragraphs match to the person's prospective it's from," Ash explained

"It's awesome! When we present it we'll just have to make sure that the paragraphs match to the person's prospective it's from," Ash explained.

"Right, I knew that," I chuckled. "The bell's about to ring. You're already packed up, so can you put the computer back for me?"

"Sure," Ash said, and he signed out of the chrome book, a smaller size of a computer. It can actually be converted into a tablet if you know how to use it right.

I then started putting my science, english, math, and social studies spirals back into my binder. We didn't exactly have to have those spirals, but it's a good way for me to keep notes. Unlike Ash, I actually do that.

"I was just thinking," May said, turning around to me. "Aren't you and Ash a couple?"

"What? N-no! We aren't like that," I stuttered, and Ash came back face a little red, chuckling.

"What she said."

"Are you sure?" May asked. "I could've sworn I saw a poster somewhere..."

"A poster? Sorry I'm not that crazy at the school," I chuckled.

"You positive? It was a fund raiser to save Dawn or something."

"Oh, Calem put up the posters. See, Serena came up with the idea. Since I helped her she picked me as co-director," Ash explained. "Dawn got stolen by a weird person with orange hair, but we know how to track their base down now, so we'll get her back soon."

"Oh, okay. I thought it was more picked on romantic stuff," May sighed. "I thought my ship would come to life."

Ring ring ring!

"Alright, I'll see you around, May! Let's go, Ash," I waved, and then grabbed Ash's hand. We walked out together.

"We aren't actually a ship are we?" Ash asked, and my face turned a little red.

"No, not at all. That would be.. weird," I blurted out. Weird wasn't the best adjective.

Ring ring ring! My phone started buzzing.

"It's free period this week, so I'll meet you in gym," I explained, as I pulled out my phone.

"Alright," Ash smiled, and ran off.

"Yvonne?"

"Yes?"

"We need you here. Now."

I was running to gym, waiting for Serena to catch up with me

I was running to gym, waiting for Serena to catch up with me. That girl was a fast runner, she'd easily catch up with me.

"Hey bro!" Calem yelled from behind me.

"Calem! Not in the ear," I sighed, as I let him walk next to me.

"Sorry!" He laughed. "Where's Serena?"

"Oh, she got a phone call. Probably nothing," I explained, as we turned into the gym entrance.

"A phone call? She could be cheating on you!" Calem yelled, and immediately regretted what he said.

"We aren't a couple, Calem! Why does everyone think that?" I asked.

"Please, you two blush at every word the other says! And you work so well together," he explained, as we went to the bleachers. "Don't tell me that you haven't noticed."

"I honestly haven't."

"Oh dear lord, Ash Ketchum. Why do you have to be so dense?"

"I don't know, Calem Ketchum, why am I?" I responded, and he looked like he gave up.

"Forget it, I'm going to go to Brendan," Calem sighed, as he got up and left.

"Hmmm, Brendan? Since when was he interested in him..?" I asked to myself, as I saw him going up. They two were chatting and having a good time. I then looked over at Misty and Gary, it looked like they wanted to chop each other's heads off. My head leaned down towards my watch. 2:30 P.M. (14:30 for people who use that time.) Why was Serena not here?

Ring ring ring! The tardy bell. Serena still wasn't here. She's never late. Never! Maybe she had a dentist appointment or something and she didn't tell me, maybe she forgot and then her Mom or Dad picked her up. Yeah, that's it, nothing major. Serena's not getting taken by that orange dude or anything. Why would I even think that???

Why would I even think that???
