One year has passed. A year had gone by since Matilda Winters had first walked into Hogwarts and sat before the entire school as she was sorted into Ravenclaw.
Her first year flew by. It was like having whiplash. She blinked and suddenly she was back on the train, going home for the summer.
Matilda loved Hogwarts. She'd found her home. A place where she knew she belonged. She'd exceeded far past all expectations she and others had set for her. The young girl was well onto the road to greatness.
