Storm's POV

With Blaze trailing behind me, i raced into the Gym. Looking around, all i saw was a restaurant. I did, however, see the Gym dude by the entrance. I went past the gates and was greeted by three men, who looked in their twenties. One had green hair, another blue hair, and the other red hair. "Welcome. Have a seat ma'am. Are you with this young man?" The one with green hair said in a calm, cool voice. "Uh-actually-" Blaze started but the the green haired one said, "No? Two separate tables, then?" His voice was stronger, but still cool. I start to clear my throat but THEN the freaking red haired one asks,"What table do you want? We have stools and high tables.." He spoke with a sturdy, harsher tongue. I shook my head. "I already ate! I'm here for the battles and badge!" I exclaimed. "And i come with her!" Blaze rushed to say before one of them dragged him to who knows where. The three men, motionless, stared at us for a few moments until they all smiled in a mysterious way, but then lead us to the wall, pulling a lever, and showing us the paths to the final stage. They left, and i rolled my eyes. I walked up to the first curtain, that displayed the color of green and a leaf. On the floor was three different circles. Each one showed green, red, or blue, the green one had a leaf, the red one had a plume of flame, and the blue one had a droplet embroidered onto it. For a second i was all like what the crap, then it hit me. I stepped onto the red one, since fire is stronger than grass and blah blah blah blah. I felt like i was playing a child's game. Next was a blue curtain. When I approached the red curtain and stepped onto the blue button, i stopped to think for a moment. Water is stronger than fire, and when fire touches water it hisses, right? I thought to myself. Well, when Blaze tried to wipe away my tears, his finger hissed and i could tell he was in pain. Does that mean he is fire? I didn't think that was possible. I mean, i touched him and look, no burns. I shrugged it off and walked up to the battle platform. I was shocked to see the three men from before there. The green-haired one spoke up first. "Hello, and welcome to the Striation City Gym! I'm Cilan, and my partner is Pansage!" He released the green pokemon and the blue-haired one announced, "I'm Cress, and my partner is Panpour!" He released the blue pokemon and, well whaddya know, the red head stated, "I'm Chili! And my partner is Pansear!" He spoke without the calm, coolness in the other guy's voices. Instead it was replaced by a fiery snap. Cilan added, "We are the triplet brothers of the gym, blahblahblahblahblah..........................." He droned on for ages, but caught Blaze's attention when he announced he was a Connoisseur, whatever that is. Then he FINALLY stopped talking, stating i got to choose my opponent. I studied them for no more than a second before insisting that i battle all of them. They all looked shocked. "A-are you sure?" Cilan stammered. Something told me he normally spoke for the group. "Uhh, ya! duh. Why would i say something when i don't mean it?" I rolled my eyes. "Okay, which one of you first?" I grinned, taking my place in the battler's box. "Storm, use a different pokemon this time." Midnight told me in a whisper. "I'm a bit pooped from all of their jabbering." He winked at me and crawled into my bag. Cress went first, after about five minutes of argument with Chili. I noticed Chili was quite childish for his age, he looked about 21. I guessed he was the youngest of the "triplets". Panpour stood before Cress on the battle field, raring to go. I reached into my bag to feel Caos' pokeball, and smiled. "Caos let's go!" I stated, and he jumped out of the red beam of light and stood before Panpour, head held high and chest puffed out. Caos glared at the little pokemon, with an intimidating gleam in his eye. Caos is a clown, but he was 110% serious in battle. I had memorized his pokemon entries from the pokedex, and i trained him to use his strongpoints. "It can stop its opponents' movements with just a glare. It takes in solar energy and boosts it internally.", "They raise their heads to intimidate opponents but only give it their all when fighting a powerful opponent.", or "It only gives its all against strong opponents who are not fazed by the glare from Serperior's noble eyes." I knew this would be quite easy because Panpour was squirming under the pressure of Caos' glare. "Grass pledge!" I announced, and Caos moved quickly to create leaves and wound them around Panpour. When the dust and leaves settled, Panpour was knocked out. Cress, however, took this easily, but i could hear the shock in his voice. "You, you are very strong!" He stated, trying to keep his cool. Chili burst through the silence and stood his ground where Cress had been. "My turn!" He shouted with glee. "Go, Pansear!" He called out. "Any subs?" He asked, grinning evil-like. "Nope! Caos will crush you!" "Ha! Your grass type will be left in the dust! Pansear, use Flamethrower!" Caos swerved out of the way easily, its speed stat high above average. "Cut, Caos!" He swerved again for a quick second, his tail shaped onto a Seviper like form, then struck Pansear across the face. I heard it let out an "oof" then fainted. Chili stood there, badly shaken. He just looked like Burgh was, but worse. Crushed, shocked, and then angry. "Pansear return!" He said through gritted teeth. "YOU BRAT! YOU THINK YOU CAN JUST BEAT THE CRAP OUT OF US ALL?!?" He screamed at me. "Cool it, hothead. I came here to get the badge. I have a jerk to deal with after all the badges are mine. Now, where's the next victim?" I said nice and smoothly, leaving Chili steaming. He practically threw himself off of the platform in a rage, scaring Cilan. Cilan made his way up towards the field, and positioned himself in the battle box. "Well well well. You sure are a super strong trainer! Never in my life have i seen anyone who has beaten Chili that fast!" We both looked over at the steaming boy, who glared at me with hate. Then Cilan resumed his speach. "I will evaluate you and your pokemon to see your bonding! Pansage, join me!" His pokemon stood in front of him and bowed in greeting. "Will you be switching your pokemon?" Cilan asked me, raising and eyebrow. I shook my head. "Nope! Caos, you ready?" I asked, though the answer was obvious. "Arceus yeah! Whadda 'bout you?" Caos closed his eyes in a grin stance and stuck out his tongue jokingly. "You bet!" I shot back, getting an awkward look from the brothers. "Well, we gonna battle or no?" I asked impatiently. "But first, it's evaluating time!" Cilan called out. I heard a higher echo of his voice, and saw Pansage imitating his trainer. "I see you and your pokemon have a wonderful bond! You two deeply understand each other and blahblahblahblahblah................." Mr. Drone On And On And On strikes again. I looked up at Blaze to see him all sparkly-eyed over what this man was doing. I would have to ask him what a Connoisseur did/was. After his speech, he commanded his first move. "Pansage, use dig!" "Caos keep an eye out!" Caos swerved closer to me and waited. "Hiiiiiiiyyyyya!" I heard the voice of Pansage as the ground burst, revealing the pokemon. Caos dodged it easily, but in the process his tail whacked Pansage towards me. Dig hit me instead, and i went flying and crashed into the ground five feet behind my original stance. I was limp in pain, my necklace crackling and my gash re-re-opened. My black vest became damp with blood. I was created by the element of electricity, so ground moves were super affective. I inhaled deeply, pain flooding my body. "Storm!" Blaze cried out, running from the stands to my side. "Are you okay?" "Mmmm nnnnn....." I groaned out what i could of nuh-uh. Caos slithered to me and looked at me with worried eyes. I turned to try and look at him but pain shot through me, leaving me to return back to my original position with a sharp breath of air. Cilan, Cress, and surprisingly Chili all ran to me with worry on their faces. Cilan was close to tears. "I'm so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so sorry! Pansage just lost control! Oh please please please forgive us!" Pansage repeated everything with the same gestures. I closed my eyes and somehow got out, "It's okay...." Leaving the two sighing with relief but still worried. "Sunny, use Psychic to pick her up." I heard Blaze say. Then i felt myself being lifted into the air and into someone's arms. I was guessing it was Blaze, for he shifted around my cut. "Wait!" I heard Cilan call out. He placed something in my hand. It was cool and metallic, with pointy edges and round domes. My eyes would not open, however, the pain too great. "It's the Trio Badge. You earned it after beating Chili and Cress. It was two out of three. Plus, you and your pokemon were close enough i'm sure you would of beat me too. Get well soon!" He called, and i felt the bumps of each step Blaze took, but then i put my hand to his chest suddenly to stop him. "Midnight? Where is Midnight?" I started to move to look for him, but pain once again shot through me. Moving back down into Blaze's chest and arms, I could tell that Pansage was quite strong. This pain was lasting longer than my Roggenrola friend's moves. "Midnight is on my shoulder, on the opposing side of Sunny." Blaze said, calmly. I nodded and curled back into his chest. "Thank you..." I whispered, then fell asleep.
