Last Chapter- My Dreams with You

Eunwoo's POV:

They were too late... all of that nonsense I had to do was for absolutely nothing... the plan is ruined. I will never live a happy life. I will always be an expressionless person who has no fun. I will forever be unhappy.

"We are so grateful to be celebrating this event with these two... Eunwoo and Jisu would like to share their vows to each other before us today." The priest announced, leaving my palms sweaty.

"I, Eunwoo, take you, Jisu, to be my equal partner in love, life, and law, today, tomorrow, and forever. I promise to treat you with dignity, respect you in your choices, be there when your lonely, help you when you need help, and turn to you first when I need help." I said the lines I memorized from the script my grandma gave me.

"I, Jisu, take you, Eunwoo, to be my equal partner in love, life, and law, today, tomorrow, and forever. I promise to share your joy and sorrow, to help you heal when the world wounds you, and to help you find beauty in everything." I smile at that but wishing that someone else was saying those lines.

"Do you, Cha Eunwoo, take Park Jisu, to be your lawfully wedded wife?" The priest finally said the words that I did not want to hear.

I sighed, let's just get this over with. This is what's  gonna be my life from now on so I better get used to it. Choices I don't want to make...

"I d-" I was interrupted by three guys bringing in a girl who was struggling in their arms.

"Put me down, I told you I can walk by myself!" Y/N protested.

It's not too late! Nothing is too late!

"No, I don't." Everyone gasped at my words, and my grandmother looked furious.

I glanced back at Y/N and her eyes widened. I smirked and looked at the crowd.

"Right now, I don't want this life. I am sick and tired of this," some news reporters and paparazzi snapped photos of me, "A woman here, killed my mom. She worked my mother to the limit, more than she can do. My mom became poor in health and passed away from the stress of work. A woman here, threatened me at the hospital my mother was ill in, to take my loved one and torture her like my mother if I didn't do what she said. A woman here, did the exact same thing to my mother when I wasn't born yet. She told my mother to stay away from my father or else she would do something bad to him. I figured years later that my mother died because this woman put too much work on her shoulders. Until my father became successful, the woman let him back in the family , but it was too late for my father to see my mother. History is repeating itself but this time it's different this time... This time I'm actually taking action. My mother is late CEO, Lee Jaesu. My father is Director of LeVial, Cha Minjun. And finally this woman I've been talking about is my grandmother, Lee Hana." I revealed the weight that was about to engulf me. My family's secret was now revealed to everyone. This left everyone in shock, they soon started clapping.

"Urgh, it's not true!" My grandmother stood up.

"Well it is! You made my son's and my life a living hell. Get out of here woman." My Dad stood up and ordered security guards to take her away.

"This won't be the last of me." She smirked as the escorted her out.

I turned to Jisu as everyone talked. "I'm sorry." I mouthed to her. It surprised me that she sent me a warm smile.

"It's ok, I understand go be with her. At least you've escaped from this prison your grandma put you in." She patted my shoulder. I bowed to her as in a thank you.

"I'd like to make one more announcement," I cleared my voice once again, "so far this whole thing has been a mess, but I have something really important to tell you all. As you've heard I actually love another person. She is what my life orbits around, I left her without saying a word three years ago and she still forgave me. I've made a bunch a mistakes but she's been there for me. When she came into my life 3 years later, she somehow managed to make me fall for her again. I want to pursue my life with her by my side. She's truly the only one I can be myself around. She's been really the victim of this whole mess. I've broken her heart many times, but to keep her safe. I hope she can forgive me one more time. So Kim Y/N," I walked over to the dumbfounded girl, clutching  to the box in my pocket, "I want to spend my life with you. I want to be the one to be there when your lonely, when you need advice, and when you need to be loved. I'm asking you, Kim Y/N, will you marry me?" I kneeled down presenting a little box that opened to show a diamond ring. My heart was racing...

Y/N's POV:

and there was butterflies in my stomach...

"Honestly I love you Cha Eunwoo. I want to spend every moment with you, I want to laugh with you, I want to snuggle with you, and I want to love you. You've been one of the first people I've ever trusted because you are truly an amazing person. You give me hope and light into my life and I can't see my future without you. I want to spend all I've ever dreamed of with you. Even though you can be a little flirt and the devil at times it doesn't change the fact that you are the person I want to spend most of my days with. Sometimes I wish we can spend days at the park, eating a vanilla ice cream, entwining our hands together. I think we could make that come true. So my answer, Cha Eunwoo, is yes, I will marry you." Tears of joy formed in my eyes as he slid the ring on my finger. Everyone cheered but we couldn't hear that. All we could hear is our hearts pounding against each other as we embraced one another.

"I love you too." He looked down to see my face slightly blushing.

"Heh, you better." You placed a soft kiss on his lips. It's wasn't a way to long kiss or just a peck.   It was a kiss you could never forget. It was a kiss to commemorate that we were engaged.

Even though relationships can break as easily as you close a laptop. You can open your heart once again as easily as you open a laptop.

As night reached the day, we still held each other close. All we needed is each other, all I need is you.

To think this all began with two teenagers who were, Behind the Screen.
