Dollhouse ( A Creepypasta Fanfiction)

warning this is gonna be a decently long chapter

(it's me talking about the book its not an actual story btw)

y'all 

I'm back 

but I've decided something and I know that it's going to make some people mad at me

I am not making a sequel to Dollhouse. 

of i'm gonna get a bunch of hate comments for doing that :^)

I've discussed it with @StarryRaven13 and a few other people and they know the full extent of why I'm not doing it already

3 reasons why I'm not doing an official sequel 

1. I've lost all interest in creepypasta

I always knew I was never going to be involved in the creepypasta fandom forever. The reason I rushed to finish Dollhouse was due to the fact that I got bored of writing it. Creepypasta just doesn't have the same appeal to me now as it did when I was 11. It's just incredibly childish and cringy for me to look back on now. 

2. The original book is poorly written

not gonna lie, this book mcfreaking sucks, there's WAAAAY too many plot holes and cliches for it to ever become a fully-fledged series, I only have one chapter I absolutely love in this book, and it's the one chapter that strays away from the story and doesn't seem connected in any way, and I feel that I love it most because of that

(btw i'm talking about Where Have All The Children Gone?)

3. I want to be known for more than this book

 I've only just realized this but Dollhouse doesn't show my full potential. I'm capable of so much more but it's hard to want to continue with other books when this is the only one that gets praise

I just don't want to be known as that one girl who wrote that one cringy creepypasta fanfiction when she was 11 and it got super popular 

tl;dr - lost interest, poorly written, capable of more

I've grown so much as not only a writer but a person in the 2 years since I started writing

And I feel as though if I keep writing this story, it's only going to hold me back and keep me from becoming what I want to be

I may decide in the future that I do want to continue Brooklynn's story, not as a fanfiction

and that's okay 

but for now, I'm not doing a sequel 

but don't worry!!! I'll still answer comments and interact with !!
