Chapter 1: all hell breaks loose

The bell to our second period rang. I heard Jin next to me grunt as he got up from the chair lazily

"I'm so not ready to come back to class" he stretched out his arms in front of him

Jin has been my friend for as long as I can remember. We were neighbors and went to the same school. Jin would always make us lunchboxes and drive me to school. Even my parents trusted him with my life

"Come on I don't want to be late" blonde girl grabbed me by my hand and pulled me up "you know how teacher Choi is with us being always late" she checked her reflection in a small pocket mirror that she was always carrying with her. Her name is Lisa and we have been inseparable since the moment we met.

Timeskip

Me and Lisa were sitting by the window in our chemistry class . Chemistry was one of the subjects i just couldn't stand, and so did Lisa. Well she wasn't interested in any of them. Her dream was to become a performer. Singer to be exact. She was looking through the window as something seemed to have cought her attention

Suddenly students started whispering to each other and looking at their phones. The teacher raised his eyes up from the blackboard but ignored the whispers
Suddenly my phone buzzed
New message: Jin
Jin: y/n check this out (link)

I opened the link as Lisa peeked over my shoulder

I tapped on my screen and it opened a news article
"Oh no" Lisa whispered. The article was warning about a sudden spread of a new virus around town
'Everyone should stay cautious and stay inside. Police and special forces are taking care of the matter'
"I think we're a bit late" Lisas voice was a bit shaky as she pointed outside
