(Lisa's pov)

The pain in my shoulder has been slowly spreading down to my left arm. I didn't get any sleep this night. Fortunately we didn't encounter any more monsters since we escaped the damn bus.

(Y/n) and Jin were peacefully sleeping next to each other. Since I couldn't sleep anyway I offered to stay on the watch so the two of them could rest.
I gritted my teeth as another wave of pain washed over me. I couldn't even describe the feeling, as if something was eating me from inside. But yet I didn't want to bother anyone with it. Both of them must be having their own struggles. My eyes wandered back to the two figures. Jin was resting his head on top of (y/n's) as her head was placed on Jins shoulder. Looking at them my thoughts accidentally slipped back to my family. Father may have survived but for my mother and two sisters those odds were too low to even consider ever seeing them again.
My chest felt heavy. No I can't cry.
I wiped away a tear. (Y/n) and Jin need me now, I have to stay strong for them
I rolled up my sleeve gritting my teeth at the pearcing pain, trying to get a closer look at the wound
"Oh god" a breath escaped my lips

(Y/n's pov)

I felt Jin shift next to me waking me up from the restless sleep. My eyes felt heavy as I had to squint at the bright sunlight
"What time is it?" Jin muttered as he streched his arms lazily
"7:45" Lisa lifted her her phone up looking at the screen "you've slept for four hours" she closed her eyes as she pulled her knees up to her chest hugging them with her healthy hand
"How is it?" I couldn't help but get worried. She looked awful. Her blonde hair fell down to her shoulders covering most of her face but I could still see her pained expression
"Huh, what?" She lifted her head up
"I mean your arm"
"Oh, i-it's fine, really" she squeezed out a smile
"I don't want to be rude" Jin finally spoke up "but we need to get going if we want to reach the town before dark" he walked up to Lisa "can you walk?"
She nodded

We spent the other half of the day walking along the road. Lucky for us it wasn't a particularly hot day or else water shortage would've reached us sooner than we reached the town
"How much more?" Lisa shook the nearly empty water bottle that she took from the bus
I unfolded the map searching for the road we were on
"We should be really close" i looked around "maybe we can try to cross across this hill to shorten instead of going around" an idea appeared in my head
Jin walked up to me taking the map from my hands
"We can try" he looked at Lisa for agreement. She nodded probably not caring what we did as long as we reached the city.
She looked even worse than when we were back in the forest. Her skin turned pale making her look like a ghost. We needed to find her medicine. I couldn't even think of losing her as well
Jin was glancing back and forth at her ready if she needed any help as she barely could stand on her own two feet yet rejected any help offers.
I sighed. Lisa has always been very stubborn.
"I think we're here!" Jin shouted from the top of the hill. "I see houses" he waited for us to go up the hill
