Y/N's POV
"That night was hilarious", I said.

"It was", she chuckled.

I laid down and lightly pulled her down next to me. We cuddled up to each other.

"Earl is such a legend", I said.

She laughed burying her face in my neck. I smiled and intertwined our fingers.

I brought her hand to my lips and kissed it gently.

She gazed up at me lovingly.

She leaned up and captured my lips. I cupped her cheek gently. She then deepened the kiss.

"I love you", she mumbled against my lips before capturing them again.

"I love you more", I said softly.

"No way y/l/n", she said.

"It's true", I said smiling down at her.

She pecked my lips once more before pulling away.

"False", she said wrapping her arms around my neck.

"True", I said slowly moving my hands to her hips.

Before she could respond I began tickling her. She immediately started laughing uncontrollably. She tried to stop my hands but I was too fast.

"Are you going to admit it?", I chuckled.

"Hell no", she laughed trying to get out of my grip.

I straddled her so that she couldn't move.

"Babe", she laughed trying to get a grasp of my hands.

My heart immediately skipped a beat.

Did I just hear right?

Her face made me believe that I did in fact hear her correctly.

She was blushing hard as hell, but I was just beaming down at her. She covered her face, clearly embarrassed. I leaned down and removed her hand from her face.

"Don't be embarrassed", I said smiling before kissing her cheeks.

"I love it", I whispered in her ear.

"You're not helping", she said still blushing.

I chuckled and sat up.

"Probably not but I miss it when you call me that", I said smiling.

"Really?", she asked.

"Hmm Hmm", I hummed.

"How is it that you make me feel like that silly teenager that fell for you?", she asked softly before tucking strand of hair behind my ear.

I smiled before responding.

"Because my love for you remained strong, it always will", I responded softly.

She smiled up at me before pulling me flush against her.

"So will my love for you", she said softly.

I began kissing along her jawline slowly.

She sighed and ran her fingers through my hair.

Sadly, our moment was cut short from a phone ringing.

I groaned and sat up realizing that it was my ringtone.

She pouted up at me and I couldn't help but to peck her lips.

"I'll be quick", I said getting out of the fort as she laid back down.

I walked over and grabbed my phone.

"Hello", I answered not bothering to look at the caller ID.

"Hey y/n, sorry to call you this late but I just wanted to update you", they responded.

I immediately recognized the voice, Zac.

"Nah it's fine, what's up", I said.

"Well it's good news, we found one of the girls involved in the incident", he informed.

I immediately felt relieved, but also angry.

"We have her in custody, questioning her at the moment for any information on anyone else involved", he added.

"Y/n?", he called after I remained silent.

"Yea", I said coming out of my trance.

"Uhm thank you for updating me just call me if any info comes out", I said sighing.

"Will do, have a good night kid", he said.

"Thanks, you too", I said before hanging up.

I sighed and placed my phone down.

I then felt arms wrap around my waist from behind.

I relaxed in her arms.

"You ok?", she asked kissing my shoulder lightly.

"Sort of", I responded before turning around.

She pulled me down onto the couch and turned to face me.

"What's wrong?", she asked intertwining our fingers.

"I don't want to ruin our night", I said brushing it off.

"It'll make me sad if you don't", she said.

I sighed before starting.

"Well Zac called, and he informed me that they have one of the girls that was involved in custody. They are currently questioning her for more information on who else was involved", I said.

She became more tense as I talked.

"But you're still angry", she said reaching up to cup my cheek.

"I am because", I stared before taking a deep breath. "I wanted payback, and with them just ending up in custody isn't helping that. I want them to feel pain that they put me through and I know it sounds horrible, but it's just what I feel", I added.

"It's normal to feel that way", she said softly.

"Come here", she said with her arms wide open for me to fall in to.

I did and she wrapped her arms tightly around me, making me feel safe.

No more words were needed.

She just held me for the rest of the night and without realizing it, I fell asleep in her arms.
