I danced around the kitchen singing quietly to myself to Halsey. Being mindful to keep the noise down as Bucky was sleeping for the first time in a while. I flipped the egg in the pan as I hummed along. I placed the eggs on the plate making more food for the both of us. I heard footsteps as the song changed. Bucky came in looking confused, I smiled "morning Buck." I greeted placing the spatula down turning to the fridge a pulling out the orange juice before reaching for 2 cups. Pouring a cup before grabbing the rum and pouring some into one of the cups. "I made breakfast."

"I noticed." His voice came out gruff as I handed him the plate before making my way to the small plastic table and chairs and taking a sip of my orange juice. "It's 7 in the morning." He said I raised an eyebrow

"So?" His eyes shifted to my cup and I chuckled "it's happy hour somewhere my dear." He shook his head a small smile made his way to his lips as we ate in silence. The music flowed through the apartment when we were done I picked up our plates taking them to the kitchen he followed. I walk the line's lyrics filled the apartment and I grinned turning to Bucky "dance with me." I said he looked confused

I keep a close watch on this heart of mine

I grabbed his hands placing them on my hips than I placed my hand around his neck

I keep my eyes wide open the time

We swayed off tempo "we aren't even going on tempo." I smile shrugging my shoulders
   "Just have fun."

I keep the ends out for the tide that binds

He smiled back at me and his stiff stature relaxed. "There you go." I encouraged

Because your mine I walk the line. I find it very very easy to be true

My eyes traced the lines of his face. The way his hair fell into his eyes. His stare burned into my face.

I found myself alone when each day is through, yes I'll admit that I'm a fool for you

My eyes locked into his. His icy blue eyes stared deep into my green ones. I could almost feel the tension that had been there since our last stare down.

Because your mine, I walk the line

I moved my hands to his cheeks. Our lips met after another second. A kiss that was sweet but also fierce. Every feeling I didn't know I had come out.

Because your mine I walk the line, you got a way to keep me on your side, you give me cost for love that I can't hide

We pulled away, our eyes met one more his metal arm had migrated from my hips to the small of my back. His other arm sat firmly under it.

For you I know I'd even try to turn the tide because your mine I walk the line. Because your mine, I walk the line. Oh because your mine I walk the line. Because your mine I walk the line

Our breathing uneven as we tried to catch our breath. It was then that I realized that 2 broken people were fighting to fix each other.
