Chapter 27

Addison's POV

I look around the room and recognize it. I'm in the place that me, Zed, Zoey, and Zed's dad stayed. What was that dream though. Weird.

I twisted the handle and there I saw Zed asleep on the floor.
"Zed?" I shook him.
"What?"
"What happened."
"You passed out."
"No I mean when you told me to hide."
"Addison, I'm tired. Can we talk later."
"Ok."

I got up and looked around. No furniture, no food, no doors.

I waited until Zed awakened to ask him what happened. When he woke, I asked him. He said he got caught or something.

He took me home and singed his song to the baby. As he got down on his knees, and started singing, I pushed my hands through his hair.
"Did you hear what they did to Eliza?" He asked as tears formed in his eyes.
"I don't want to know."
"Ok."
He started singing again.

"Zed.."
"Yes?"
"I don't want to go back."
"I know." He rubbed my face.
"I know." He whispered again.

I'm so glad I can be with Zed once again. No one knows I'm pregnant but us. I feel free once again.
