Chapter 33

                     Zoey's POV

I'm hiding under my bed while the man looks for me. I start to fall asleep so I close my eyes.

I feel something grab me and pull me out.
"So you're the little pest messing with me?" He yelled.
"What? No."
He pulled out his phone and dialled a number.
"I found a zombie." He says.

I sit on a boat waiting to hit land. I'm in a compartment in the bottom of the boat. Finally I hear the boat stop.

A man comes down and pulls me out.
"I'll be taking this." He says while clipping off my Z-band.
He looks so delicious, like brains on a hot sunny day. I haven't ever felt the urge to eat a human. Keep it together Zoey.

I walk around when I see dad. Oh how happy I am to see him.
"Dad!" I run and hug him.
"Wha- what are you doing here?" He asks.
"I got caught. But that's okay, as long as I'm with you." I hugged him even tighter.
"Are Zed and Addison okay?" He asked.
"They're fine."

There are zombies everywhere. Sea Brook was cleaner but at least we're free. No humans, no rules, no nothing. I love it here.
