"Alex?"
"John? What's wrong?" Alex clutched his phone to his ear tighter.
"Do you promise not to scream?"
"Ok now your scaring me, what is it?"
"Promise?"
"Umm, fine sure what is it?"
"I might of, accidentally adopted 5 cats."
"What!" He yelled and shot out of his seat earning strange looks from his office neighbors.
"What! I'm sorry! I couldn't contain my self around them, that looked so helpless and lost and how could you just walk past those adorable little faces without buying one?"
"You bought five!"
"Oh yeah."
Alex sank back in his chair and started to laugh nervously
"Five cats huh. God, John.
"Well look on the bright side."
"There is no bright side."
"Oh...well..."
"So now we have cat children?"
"Yes!"
"Your hopeless."
"I love you too! Say bye Mr. Fluffy face." Alex heard a meow from the other end of the line then it went dead.
"Five cat children. And I promised I wouldn't scream."
