As we arrive at St. Peters it dawns on me. I've seen her here before.
She was the doctor working on the patient with the cattle horn stuck in his leg.

Her looks and actions are like night and day. I needed to get more information on her so I make the bold move and flirted with Noras' nurse to get the information I need.

"Doctor De Campo office? Yes, I know it but I wouldn't go there if I was you. Rumors have its like walking into hell; you can fill the coldness in the hall leading into fire pit of her office."

I wanted to roll my eyes but instead I give her a smirk with a wink.

"....well ... it is over at the A building 5th-floor room 511. Don't say I didn't warn you. She is mean and cold. No one enjoys working with her...."

Mrs. Martinez coughs, I look back her and she had a harsh look on her face, "Stop. Don't you ever say anything bad about her again, she's an angel." I grab her hand to calm her down and smile.

"She is."

She relaxes in my hands like most women, Italian men have that effect.

I text Art,

ME: hey dude, it's going to be while, can you wait or grab something to eat."

ART: Text me when you're ready

I was in a mission to find her but mostly to take her as mine.
I finally found it.
Damn that nurse was right that damn hall was cold. I can feel my heart beating faster than usual. I heard her voice as I got closer to her office. A loud deep voice came from in her office, I stood back to eavesdrop.

He just had forbidden her to date his son. I couldn't help to smile. Dam douche bag didn't deserve her anyway. He walks out and spots me. Looking at me up and down judging me while walking  away, cocky bastard.

I grew up with men like him my whole life, cocky but as soon things get tough they run away like a bunch of fucking cowards.

Little did he know I can buy this whole damn hospital.
That why I like to work as an EMT, no one cared about how much money was in my bank, all they wanted was the help.

Mio Zio (My uncle)  hated that I decided to walk away from him and his business. He hated everything about Texas and my choice. He only visited me once the whole twelve years I've been here in Texas. It was mostly to beg me to return to New York. I said 'no' I wanted to make my own choices something he couldn't give me. He told me, "Figlio, you can't replace all the lives you took by saving all these people."

He pissed me off, I took lives for him and I wasn't his figlio (son). My only purpose in my life was him until I broke the last piece that was standing.

I knock on her on side of the open door not to scare her.
She was typing away without looking away from her computer and her voice leaps up, "Not NOW Joy. I told you I'll tell you about Friday later."

I swear every time I saw this woman her face was always staring at the computer and her mood always seemed different.

"I hope you tell her how good I made you feel."
My cocky remark made her broke away from her silence. I walk in locking the door behind me.
Her breathing change it became deeper as her chest deeply moved in and out.
I kept my composure as my heart beat out of my chest at her sight.

She stood up from her desk and in two strides I was standing right in front of her.

Damn that nurse was right.
A fire was in her office because I can feel the heat between us.
I was mad at her but I couldn't help to seek her out and claim her again.

As I get closer she moves further back  until her back hits against the window, "Nice view."
I was not talking about the office view of downtown Dallas.
She was about to say something, I stop her by claiming her mouth and picking her up by her ass. I held her in my arms claiming her beautiful lips.

Fuck. My cock wanted her, my whole body wanted her and I think my heart needed this.

I need the truth I was determined to get it from her one way or another.
