At detention,only a few questions were thrown at me.

"Why are you crying,Midoriya?" Aizawa questioned.

I made a big mistake

"Something got in my eye while running here." I replied.

"I see you're late,why?"

Me and Kacchan were talking about why I appreciate him then my true feelings slipped out.

"I just remembered I have detention."

"I see. Why did you lie?"

So Kacchan doesn't get in trouble.

"Lying about what, sensei?"

"Bakugou threw the paper first,so why did you lie?"

I'm taking the blame for him.

"I threw it first."

"Do you take me for an idiot? Alright then, have it your way. Go back to your class."

I tried to avoid Kacchan for the rest of the school day. It was hard but he didn't seem to notice me in the halls.

"Midoriya san."

"H-huh? Oh hi, Todoroki."

"How was your day?"

Why'd you have to ask that?

"It was good." I looked down at my feet.

"It doesn't look like it was good. You can tell me, I'll listen."

I felt calmed by Todoroki's words.

"It's just that Kacchan-"

"He hurt you again?"

"Todoroki kun you said you would listen!"

"Kacchan didn't hurt me. He just..spoke to me."

"About what? Is he verbally abusing you?"

When I arrived home I got a text from Ochako.
