Chapter Thirty

She was shaking as she got out of the water. She could have sworn she died, she was dead but she wasn't. She was alive. She found herself at Cheyenne Mountain and was taken as a prisoner until someone recognized her.

"Doctor Marshall!" Said a Airman and had her cleaned up and brought to briefing.

She wrapped herself in the blanket she was given as she looked at the people in the room.  She was stared at and she pulled it closer as a security blanket.

"Rebekah!" Andrew hugged her tightly to him. She clung to him.

"What..what happened?" She said as she looked around. She sat down and pulled her knees to her chest.

"After the battle, you were severely wounded and they couldnt move you and then there was a collapse of a column that causes them to shut the process down." Sam said as she sat beside Rebekah and rubbed her back.  "That was five years ago, Rebekah." Sam held her close.

She was characteristically cold.

A few weeks later, she was working on something and rubbed her forehead.
