The rain matched with her mood. The car came to a hault. The driver opened the door. She hesitated at the beginning. Unable to set her foot on the ground she thought about the consequences. But its too late now and she doesnt have any other option. After closing her eyes momentarily and composing herself she decided to come out of the car.
After adjusting her saree she got down from the car nervously. Her legs shivered as she tried to steady herself on the ground. Her freezing hands clutched her tummy that performed thousand somersaults. Slowly she lessen the distance between her and bungalow. The car ignition sound made her flinch. She turned to see the head light retreating. And she know that she was on her own now in the darkness of the night under the cloudy hazy sky, no stars to see her, no moon to guide her, it was darkness and as if even the universe was crying of her in terms of rain. And it's inevitable.
She is doing to be touched by the person whom she doesn't have a pinch of feelings and all this just for the love of her life, her pulkit, "Pulkit, please forgive me" she could only tell it to herself. She looked at the sky and searched her parents, but alas they were not there to see her, "how can they?" she thought. No parents can see her daughter like this giving away her body her soul just for money. She felt disgusted; she felt no less than a prostitute today, who sleeps around only for money. In fact she was even worse than them, atleast they are not committed, they are not into any relationships, but she? A sigh realised from her month.

It has been ages since he took alcohol. But today was an exception. He took the scotch from the bar and poured it on the rocks. He isnt an alcoholic person. To be honest he was not much of an alcoholic person. Khushi, Pulkit and the situation needed him to calm down. But unfortunately nothing worked for him. He sat on the sofa and rolled the liquor trying to forget those doe eyes that penetrated something he couldn't comprehend. Frustrated he let the liquor burn his throat as he gulped it down at one go.
"Aman, whats the latest news?", he disconnected the line screaming 'damn it' before shattering the glass against the window pane. Then he removed his jacket and threw it on the floor and then he heard the door bell.
He walked out of the room and went towards the entrance. The moment he touched the knob he knew that it was inevitable.

On the other side of the door Khushi prepared herself for the worst night in her life . The night, which is going to take her soul. The night, which she had never ever dreamt to face in her life The night, which is going to haunt her forever. The night, which is going to be the turning point of her life. The night, which she was going to sacrifice for her love. The night, she will become impure. But her heart?
Tears shed for another person are not a sign of weakness; They are sign of pure heart....
Her lips curved into a smile, while her eyes filled with tears..."Khushi, you are doing this only for Pulkit. Dont think anything else. Your body might become impure. But your heart will always remain pure. She wiped her tears, tucked her saree and finally walked towards the main door.
She stood there for few seconds prayed to her God for the last time and pressed the bell.

Arnav opened the latch and saw her. The cool breeze blew making her hair a mess. She tried to tame it but failed. 'She is so beautiful, he thought' and met her eyes. Rain drops kissed her flushed skin, "Come in" her said and then gave her the way to come in.
"Third room from the right" she heard him say again. While she walked inside, she could hear him locking the main door.
The passage was dark really dark. She could hardly see anything except the tiny jet of light coming from a wall. She tried to move when she heard him again "are you planning to stay here for the rest of the night?" his voice was dangerously dark, his attitude like a roaring lion.
He walked passed her and opened the door and went inside. Khushi realized it was a door not a wall from where the light was coming. She grabbed her saree, lifted it a bit and followed him.
She entered the room nervously. The ambience itself made her so scared that when she was brushed by her own pallu she screamed and hugged him from behind clutching his t-shirt and spilling his second drink in the process.
