"Hello Lydia and family I bring gifts." I show Louis and my men inside as they place down flowers, pastries and technology. She just stares at me as her sister and brother fight over the offerings. As I catch her glare compulsion is easy. I feel it fading though. "This is an official apology to you and your family." Her mother nods along with Jeremy "Ok." Is all he is. I am getting somewhere. "Lydia my dear would you like a donut it's covered in chocolate... your favorite." She takes the donut and I smile. I've figured it out from her blood. I know more about her then I did before. I like it. "How is it?" She nods "It's good." I usher her to take more. I can't have my mate despising me because of that stupid rogue. I can smell him in her and it pisses me off. Hence why my compulsion is so weak. They had to have spoken not to long ago. I told him to stay away. "Lydia is it ok to talk in your room?" She nods "Yeah sure." She leads the way and I follow. Lydia's donut was made from Polithe. The truth tree and a little power of my own. "Come here I haven't seen you in ages." I exaggerate she does come obediently. The donut worked. She sits on my lap. My hands encase her waist "Did you miss me?" I murmur in her ear. Her heart races. "Yes I did." I hum at her words "That's good." I kiss her neck and she turns around kissing my lips. We make out in a smooth and passionate embrace. "Tell me darling have you been seeing that other vampire." She looks to me the gloss of the enchantment showing in her eyes "Yes." I sigh "When was the last time and tell me what happened?" She begins going off on a tangent about him coming through a window, her not realizing. She wasn't dressed. Anger is an understatement. "I felt something when he told me he couldn't be with me. It was weird." I sigh kissing her cheek then her forehead. I get up causing her to as well.

"I didn't want to do this you must believe me... I love you I do and I don't want anyone taking you from me." My mouth touches her neck before she registers anything. My teeth in her neck makes my powers and the Polithe disappear. She screams but I cover her mouth. I drink from her then I pull out. It was easier than I thought. My fangs dripping from her blood. I bite my wrist. "Drink." She shakes her head "Lydia you will drink from me." I can't compulse her to do it. "I don't want you feeling like this anymore... he wasn't suppose to give you blood he knows that please baby after this I promise it'll be alright." She registers my words. I take my hand off her mouth and place my wrist there instead. Her lips touch it gently. And she grimaces "Shh it's ok only a little bit." I coo rubbing her head I can feel the blood leaving my body as she sucks gently. My eyes close in pain. It's working.

"Fuck." I curse. All of a sudden her eyes widen. She pulls away from me. Her eyes turn a flash of green. I smile. The eye color of her mate. She clutches her chest. I pull her shaking form into me. "It's alright baby it only hurts because of him your body is going to reject his blood then you'll be alright ok." She's shivering her body developing cold sweats. She gets up abruptly rushing to the bathroom. When I hear her vomiting. A grin comes to my lips. I follow her as she vomits up his blood. Her body knows now he isn't her mate and doesn't want his blood in her system. I fixed it. I rub her back as she cries "My stomach.." she gasps "I know only a little while longer." I hate to see her like this but it's for the best. She vomits again "There there." She cries

All of a sudden she turns and her tear stained cheek is pressed against my chest. I comfort her whispering sweet nothings in her ear. She's mine she's finally mine. I pick up her face and look into her eyes. They flash green. "What's happening to me?" I wipe her tears "Nothing you've been marked that's all now I know you are safe." I help her up "Come on let's get this and you cleaned up."
