I held her the rest of the night. I was afraid of what might happen if I did. I can't lose her. She's worth more than gold, no matter what anyone will-or has-ever said. Her breathing, even in her sleep, was unsteady. As she slept, I rub her back. I couldn't sleep at all, but it only gave me more time to study her.

She had a few freckles-barely visible-sprinkled on her nose. I rub her upper arm and realize I've got to get her to eat more. I can feel almost every single one of her bones, and that can't be good. Her cuts have scabbed over a tiny bit, I'll have to bandage them up when she wakes up. I'm not taking any chances of waking her up.

This is probably the most peaceful I've ever seen. I probably sound like a creep right now, but it's the truth. A while later, after checking up on a few things on my phone, she starts to stir in her sleep.
