DIEGO'S P.O.V:

I decided to take riah ( my nickname for her) shopping. Steve and his girlfriend are taking Memo shopping I ain't good with kids and clothes. We go to the mall and walk around a bit not going into any stores. I notice her kinda nervous, I don't know why it's just us. " What's wrong ma?" I ask. I don't think she heard me, she's too busy deep thinking about something. I grab her waist which makes her jump. "Hey, it's okay nothing's gonna happen, I got people all around this place watching our every move, We all goodie okay?" I smile and she knows I'm right. She hugs me and pulls me into a Hot Topic. This store is so weird it's dark and gothic and emo. Why would she want to shop at a store like this? I see her light up when she see's a Little Mermaid wallet. Then she runs over to the corner and she spots this girl called crybaby? " Why she called crybaby?" I ask her. Some kids look at me when I asked and looked at me like I'm an alien. She laughs and tells me it's her album called crybaby. Her real name is Melanie Martinez. She looks chill. I buy her a sweater with the crybaby on it and a couple little stuff. "Aight that was fun but it's my turn to pick a store." I grab her hand and walk towards a Forever 21. I had her hand one minute then the next I don't. She took off and I run to catch up. By the time I catch her She already has 400 things in her hand. She holds up a baby blue floral dress, "What do you think of this?" she says. I love it but I would rather have it on the floor then on her. " It's cute, go try it on." She smiles and walks towards the door and walks in. I sit on the yellow chair and try to ignore the fact that there are a bout a million girls a minute walking by me being skanky as hell. Shit, if it wasn't for Riah I would've jumped on these hoes. "Stop foo" I whisper out loud. She walks out and does a little spin. "Well?........." she laughs. I dropped my jaw. She was absolutely breathtaking.  " That's a good one, let's get it." I finally say like a dumbass. We shop for hours in this damn store. But fuck it, it was my idea. we walk in to a Victoria's Secret. We walk towards the perfumes but I know why I really wanna get out of this store. " I'll be back" I tell her and walk towards the bra section I pick out a black lace with red trimming set along with a few other choices. " Go try this on" I tell her when I go back . She looks at my hand full of bras and panties and laughs. she asks the woman where the fitting room's are and goes to try on the stuff.  I walk around to smell the perfume where this lil baddie walks up to me and hands me a paper in my hand. "oh shit..." I laugh and look at  the paper

I hide the note in my pocket and walk towards the fitting room. "Hey ma? everything okay?" I holla out. "Yes, just don't wanna come out." she whispers. I think it's cute how self conscience she is. "Either you come out or I go in." I yell back. "Shit fine." I hear the door creak and my eyes bout popped out my head. She's beautiful. She walks towards me with the baby blue and pink lace bra set and I fall back on the chair. "You like it?" she shyly whispers. "I love it." I nearly screamed. She walks back to go change and we decide to go to our last store. Hollister. We walk in and I immediately see a dope ass shirt. She walks her own way and does her own shopping.

RIAH'S P.O.V

I can't believe it. i'm actually having a great day. I feel so happy. I grab some clothes and walk to the clearance rack and look some more. I smile to myself and then I feel a metal pole against my back. I laugh thinking it's diego. " Get to the dressing room quickly and quietly and your little boy friend won't get hurt." I hear a dark evil voice whisper in my ear. Oh no.... he found me. I feel the tears drip down as I walk toward the room as instructed.  "you thought you could get way from me that fast you little slut?" He hits me against my head I immediately see blood. I cry softly to myself and BOOM I feel a sharp pain on my side and I feel warm ooze come out of me."You can't runaway from me anymore Selena!" he yells in my ear. Selena? Does he think I'm mom?  He picks me up by my hair and punches me til there's blood on his knuckles. He then struck my face against the fitting room chair. I scream and fall to the floor. He gives me one last punch and takes off, leaving me bleeding out and half attentive. I feel a hand come around my head and hear Diego's voice. "Somebody help me please!" I hear him yell. "Baby stay with me.... please don't leave me." I feel his tears against my face. I put my hand to his cheek and whisper  " dad.....it was my dad." and then it goes black.
