I sat at the back of the classroom reading a book by myself in silence. It's became like a routine.

Ever since freshman year, not many people has been a fan of me. They describe me as shy, alone, quiet, and intimidating.

I don't have many friends but just this one girl whom became very good friends of mine and her name is Amelia. Although she's very gossipy and loud. she's a ton of fun.

Ring Ring!

The bell rang and I stood from my desk and closed my book.

"Here's the worksheet" I tell the Chemistry Teacher as I hand him the paper.

He glances at it and then looks back up at me.
"Thank you." he says.

"I'm glad you're getting your grades up. You are failing, do you know that?"

"I know but I'm trying!" I tell him with a half ass smile.

He lifts his eyebrow as he walks off to his desk.

It was now my favorite time of class, lunch

I joined Amelia for lunch. Amelia was my true and only friend that I ever had. She was there for me since the start. She's been the only family I have since mine lives all the way across the country because they believe 'I'm old enough to live alone and do adult things' but I'm just a senior, I mean I guess i'm sort of like an adult but i just don't know what i'm doing.

"Can you believe Mr Wilson gave me a detention" She snaps.

"You should've known he would give you a detention for coming late to his class everyday, I mean he literally gave Lucas one for sleeping once in his class. Once."

Amelia was like the second most gorgeous girl I've ever met. The first was the model who lives next door to me. I mean she's like the dream girl. Blonde hair, green eyes, funny, smart, easy to talk with and amazing body that I would kill for. She's almost perfect but she does has her flaws for instance, she can be a bit hot head sometimes but she's has good intentions.

"I've been failing most of my classes" I tell her as I take a bite of my apple.

"How?" she questioned.

"I have no idea but I think it has to do with me being lazy and procastinating."

"You seriously need to get to it, You are going to graduate this year. We both are"

"I know"

School wasn't what i'm good at, I mean I get decent grades most times but I just want straight A's and perfect honor roll.

"Guys guess what!" Amelia friend yells as she sits in front of both of us.

"What's up Lex" Amelia says with a smile.

Lex was one of Amelia friend. She was the nosy and gossip one. She knew everything that was happening and going down in the school. I honestly don't know how she knew these stuff but I feel like she knew these stuff before the person knew themselves. I personally believe she should become a FBI agent or something cause she's good.

"There's handsome new kid in school!" she squeals.

Amelia gasps. "Really?!"

"Yes! I just seen him in the office. He will be attending the school tomorrow"

Amelia grabs me and shakes me "Mila, Did you hear her?! A handsome new kid! He could be the one I always wished for!"

I let out a laugh.

"Yeah, sure. I doubt he even that handsome. Have you noticed the type of dudes you fall for?"

Lex have bad taste in guys. She literally thought dofus from the football team was cute and he didn't even have the looks but he was sure dumb as a rock.

Lex scoffs. "That's not fair"

"Sorry Lex" I add.

She looks at me angerily. "Might I add that you no have no taste of experience of men. Have you even kissed one?! No, I doubt it because I doubt that anyone would even like you" she snaps at me.

I stay quiet and look at her with a angry face

This bitch, I can't believe she said that

"Oh really?! and I suppose that's worse then to the hundreds of men you slept with, what number did you leave on 930?!" I snap back.

"Girls!" Amelia yells. "Calm down, there's no need to fight"

I roll my eyes and continue to read my book.

"Anyways, apparently he's smart as hell and very talented. I just can't wait to meet him"

"Me too!" Amelia says smiling as she claps her hands together.

The lunch bell rings and its time for class.

We head back to class and finish our day off.
