On your first day at Yuuei, you just had to have to worst luck ever. Once again, you ran into the ash-blond.

Thankfully, this time it wasn't a crash and more of a coincidental meeting. When he saw you, he growled and stomped over to you, and your thoughts at the moment were 'Why did this prick have to go to the same school as me'.

You knew why he looked so familiar the other day now. It was because he was the guy with the powerful explosion quirk.

"So you come here too, bitch." His piercing scarlet eyes bore into your (eye color) orbs as he waited for your answer.

"I don't think that's how heroes talk," you said, tilting your head slightly. "It's more like you're a villain."

"WHAT?!?" He grabbed your uniform collar, lifting you up once again. However, when you raised your hand, he let go of you. "Don't you fucking dare to try that shit on me, asswipe."

You shrugged before turning to walk away. You could hear him muttering something under his breath, but you chose to ignore it, entering the school instead.

"Hi, (Name)!!!" Nemuri came running over to you, her hero costume showing off her body and making you look up to avoid looking at her.

"Hi."

She sighed. "That's all you're going to say?"

"Yeah," you replied. You waved her bye and left, hoping to get to your classroom without any interruptions or people in your way, but of course, someone appeared.

He had purple-ish hair and indigo eyes, with dark bags underneath him. He seemed to be heading the same direction as you, but when he said you, he scoffed.

"What do you want?" His voice was low but in a sort-of attractive way.

"I'm going to my class... Who are you?"

He hesitated before responding. "Shinsou Hitoshi, class 1-C."

"(Last Name) (Name), class 1-A."

His eyes widened before he huffed, starting to walk away.

"What's your deal?" you muttered. He glanced over his shoulder, a harsh look on his face.

"I don't want to deal with you 1-A hero brats," he grumbled.

"I'm not a brat." Your eyes hardened as you gave him the same look he was giving you.

"Tch. Whatever." He kept going, turning around the corner at the end of the hall and disappearing from your sight. The door to your classroom was a few feet away, so you turned left and entered it.

The first thing you noticed was that the ash-blond was already there, and he was being scolded by a dark-blue haired boy with glasses and a very straight posture.

"Don't put your feet on the desk! It's disrespectful to the others who used it before you!" he cried.

"Whatever, extra. What lame school are you from?"

You ignored them too, walking straight to your seat. You sat down, dropping your bag next to your desk before pulling out your phone. Nemuri sent you a picture, so you tapped on it, bringing it up.

It was a picture of her and Aizawa, his face tired and grumpy as always.

You sighed, slipping your phone back in your pocket. You looked around. More people were starting to show up, you noticed an interesting boy taking a seat in the back.

He had locks of ivory and crimson, split in half. His eyes were beautiful and enrapturing, with his right eye being a warm gray and the left a deep turquoise.

When you saw the look in his eyes, you decided to try and talk to him.

"You...had a bad past?" You were standing in front of him, staring into his heterochromatic orbs.

"I don't believe it's any of your business," he responded coldly.

"Maybe not. But you and I are similar. You have that cold look in your eyes that shows that there's some sort of darkness inside you."

"I don't care."

You rolled your eyes, but you kept talking. "I'm only saying that because I recognize the look in your eyes."

"Why don't you try talking to someone else," he said. He seemed to be glowering at something, although you were sure it wasn't you as he was looking to the side.

"Because I have nothing in common with them. You're more intriguing than them too and you don't talk as much or seem as bothersome either."

When you said this, he paused. "Fine. Do whatever you want."

Satisfied with this, you nodded. "My name is (Last Name) (Name), and my quirk is Magic Circuit."

"Todoroki Shouto. My quirk is Half Cold, Half Hot. I can use ice with my right side, and fire on my left."

Before you could utter any more, something coming from the door caught your attention, and you and Todoroki glanced at it.

Aizawa was there holding up many of the Yuuei gym uniforms, and you could just make out a yellow sleeping bag from the corner of the door.

"Change into these and meet me outside. We'll be doing a quirk apprehension year, so hurry up," he said. You took one and walked to the girls' change rooms. You could hear the other girls chatting behind you, but you paid them no heed, instead choosing to be by yourself.

You quickly changed into the gym uniform and left the room. You were one of the first to finish changing, along with a few of the other boys.

Approximately five minutes later, everyone was out and gathered around Aizawa. You had met him before and had a friendship with him, but he instructed you to call him by his last name while he was teaching you.

He was holding a small device and a softball, which he tossed to the angry ash-blond boy.

"Bakugou, how far could you throw a softball in middle school?" So his name's Bakugou...

"Sixty-seven meters," Bakugou responded.

"Now try with your quirk," Aizawa said. He pointed to a small white circle that was a few meters away from Bakugou. "Stand in there and throw the ball. You can use your quirk however you want as long as you stay in there."

Bakugou took his place in the circle before swinging his arm back. He whipped it forward, a large explosion emitting from his hand as he screamed, "DIE!!!"

Die?

You watched the ball soar through the air, flying a large distance away until you couldn't see it anymore.

"Seven hundred and five point two meters," Aizawa said, glancing down at the device in his hands.

"Wow!" you heard someone cheer.

"We're going to be finding the results of these tests you will be taking, with the assistance of your quirks. And let me just say, whoever comes last will be expelled."

You peeked over at a green-haired boy, who you recognized from the exams. He looked positively horrified at this. You didn't know why, though, but you assumed it was because his quirk wasn't very efficient at these kinds of things.

"Let's get started," Aizawa said.
