5 years later...

Spencer's POV

"Hayden can you help get your brother dressed for bed?" I begged her.

"Why can't you do it?" She sassed back.

"I have to feed your sister," I raised an eyebrow at her. "Now please, can you help me out?"

"Fine," She sighed heading for the stairs. "WESTON!" She yelled for him.

I bounced Avery in one arm while I tried warming up a bottle in the microwave with the other. She was screaming at the top of her lungs while Hayden was screaming for Weston. I was about to explode. "When is your daddy going to get home?" I looked down at Avery. "I'm losing my mind."

And just like magic I heard the front door open. "Oh thank goodness," I sighed in relief. "You are never aloud to leave for a whole weekend again."

He smiled at me, trying not to laugh. "I got her," He said taking Avery from my arms. I handed him the bottle.

"Mom!" Hayden came running down the stairs. "Weston threw up in the bathtub."

"Oh great," I laid my head in my hands. "Is he ok?" I asked her.

"Yeah," she nodded. "He got into my Halloween candy and ate too much, Hayden crossed her arms in anger.

"I'm sorry baby," I walked over to her. "Why don't you go get ready for bed, Dad and I will be up to say goodnight in a minute."

After I cleaned up the mess in the tub I walked down the hall to find Toby about to put Avery to bed. "She sleeping yet?" I whispered.

"I think so," he turned towards me.

She was sprawled out in his arms, looking more peaceful than ever. I couldn't help but feel my heart melt at the sight. I kissed her on the forehead before Toby laid her in the crib and covered her up. He turned on the baby monitor and closed the door on the way out.

"Next," he joked.

We walked into Weston's room who was lying in bed. "Hey buddy," Toby gave him a hug. "Did you miss me?"

"Yes," He smiled. "You left me home alone with all the girls," he crossed his arms.

"I'm sorry," Toby laughed. "Next time I will take you with me."

"You feeling better?" I asked him.

"Yes," he nodded.

"No more candy," I pointed a finger at him. "Your sister is very mad at you."

"I'm sorry mommy," he looked at me with those blue eyes.

I sat down on his other side. "Do you want us to read you a book before bed?"

"Yeah," he pulled a book off his nightstand. The same one Toby and I read every night.

"Again?" I smiled, knowing the answer.

"One more time," he said snuggling into me.

"Ok," I laughed.

I read the book aloud to Weston and Toby. I couldn't help but look at them. They looked Identical. Both of their eyes started to get heavy as I finished reading. "Goodnight baby. I love you."

"Love you to mommy," he kissed me.

"Night buddy," Toby kissed him on the top of his head. "Love you."

"I love you daddy," He said before closing his eyes.

Toby and I entered into Hayden's room, who was reading to herself. "You all ready for bed?" I asked her.

"I guess," she shrugged.

Toby immediately went in for hug.

"I missed you daddy," Hayden said into his shoulder.

"I missed you too," he kissed her forehead.

"Thanks for helping me today," I told her. "I know its hard being a big sister sometimes, but your dad and I appreciate all your help."

"Your welcome," she smiled.

"Alright," I turned off her lamp. "I love you," I kissed her.

"Love you," she smiled. She hugged Toby giving him a kiss. "I love you."

"I love you more," he chuckled.

Toby closed her door and we both sighed. "Now it's your turn," he scooped me up into his arms.

I giggled as he brought me back to our bedroom. "Seriously, you aren't aloud to leave again. I know your dad needed your help this weekend, but never again," I smiled at him. "It's really hard to take care of three children without you."

"You did great," he rolled his eyes at me. "Did you miss me?"

"Is that a real question?" I said before pressing my lips to his.

He set me down on the bed, pulling away from me. He got dressed into his PJ's real quick. I caught myself staring at the picture of Adam on my nightstand.

Toby turned to look at me. "Do you think about him much?"

I turned to look at him. "I was just thinking... What if he never had that accident?" I looked down at my hands. "I wouldn't know you. Weston wouldn't exist, Avery wouldn't exist."

He sat down beside me, "Everything worked out."

"I miss him," I looked at Toby. "But I'm glad that he died, as horrible as that sounds. Because I've never loved anyone like I love you. And... we wouldn't be here today if he hadn't had his accident."

"He would be so proud of you," he kissed my forehead.

"I hope so," I smiled. "By the way," I changed the subject. "You are getting fixed this week. After being alone with all three kids for three days, I don't want to be popping out anymore children."

He laughed before pressing his lips to mine. He rolled on top of me, removing my clothing. It was funny how we've been together so long, but we couldn't keep our hands off of each other. Every moment we could spare alone, was spent in our bedroom making love to each other.

After we spent our very much needed alone time together, Toby rolled over, breathing heavily. "You still amaze me," he breathed.

"How so?" I propped myself up on my elbow, looking at him.

"When we make love," he smiled. "It's like were nineteen again. It feels new and amazing."

I smiled, glad he felt that way too. "I love you," I kissed him. "I love that I got to have this beautiful family with you."

"I love you too," he smiled. "I'm glad that I get to spend the rest of my life with you."

Before we could kiss again, we heard a slow cry begin.

Toby and I both sighed, "At least she waited until we were finished this time," I reminded him.

"I got her," Toby got out from the covers throwing on some boxers.

"I'll come with," I said stealing his t-shirt and throwing on some underwear.

Toby put his arm around me as we went into Avery's room.

5 years ago I remember thinking, I don't belong to you. And most day's I don't feel like I deserve him. He's more than I could ever ask for in a husband and a father. But- There is this feeling I get every time we look at each other and all I can think is, we must belong to each other. There is no doubt in my mind that I Spencer Cavanaugh do in fact belong to Toby Cavanaugh.
