"damn it! why is this even the answer?!"

i let out exhaustingly as i lean on the couch and almost slip out of my spot, "the reason might be that you didn't understand the lesson very well." seokmin reasons out making me groan. basically the three of us, the '97 liners, are exhausted and are also studying for our upcoming tests which are killing us at the moment. "or maybe you just suck at the lesson." minghao interjects while reading his literature book, i glare at him and seokmin (the oldest between the three nodded in agreement with minghao awhile back). i rub my eyes a bit trying to figure out the equation in my maths book;

"how the fuck is twenty-four the answer to this equation?" i almost screech out the question making me sigh, i see minghao leaning towards me plus looking over to the maths book i'm reading. we weren't allowed to skim through our lectures, notes and books which made it difficult for us. "why don't you ask wonwoo hyung?" i look up from the book as i noticed that i was staring at seokmin, who was peeling a tangerine with his right hand while answering some questions with his left hand. 'how does he do that?' i ask myself in my mind before i almost chocked on what i heard what seokmin said "um, w-what?" i stuttered out making seokmin roll his eyes "you heard me gyu, why don't you ask wonwoo hyung? he is in your maths too right?" seokmin asks again, "um, yeah?" i said as minghao obviously facepalms and smacks my head.

i felt a pang of pain at the back of my head as i rubbed the spot with my free hand, i turn towards minghao and glare at him for the action he made "what was that for?!" i ask him while rubbing my head in pain. "you're classmates with wonwoo hyung in your maths class then go ask him for some information!" minghao explains, rolling his eyes afterwards. i blush a bit at minghao's obvious explanation, "b-but i can't!" i said out loud and realized what i've said. they both look at me confused and with seokmin raising his eyebrow at me, "why? it's not like he'll turn down the offer." seokmin said as the blush now became visible to them. "oh my fucking god you two should date already!" minghao shouts out making me jump, i looked at him with a confused look "damn both of you are really whipped for eachother." seokmin said then facepalming making my eyes go wide. "what do you two mean?" i asked the two while looking at the both of them back and forth, seokmin had a panicked look and turned to minghao "should we tell him hao?" he asked minghao, making the asked male shrug. seokmin groans and throws a couch pillow at minghao, i roll my eyes at the them 'they forgot that i'm just right here.' i cleared my throat at them making the two look at me. "i want an explanation you two." i tell them as minghao stood up from his place and sat beside seokmin, or basically sat on him (making seokmin cry out in pain on how heavy minghao is; "i'm not heavy you horse!"), i roll my eyes once again at them as i clear my throat one more time.

they stop arguing and look at me as my arms were crossed while my book lay on my lap, "so?" i ask the two friends of mine as minghao sighs "fine, both of you are whipped for eachother. ain't it obvious for you two?" minghao asks me as i just became silent. when they both widen their eyes at my sudden silence "oh my god. mingyu you are an oblivious bitch." minghao states out as i look at seokmin, who was texting someone forgetting about the situation he's in right now. "earth to lee seokmin!" me and minghao shout making seokmin jump and let go of his phone. "hao, we're screwed." he said as seokmin grabbed his phone from the ground, minghao glared at him with wide eyes "you told them?!" minghao angrily asks the person beside him on the couch chair. "well what else could we do huh?!" seokmin argues with minghao and again they both continue to argue with eachother, i sigh at them and brought out my phone then messaged the groupchat.

[gyumsy: CAN ANYONE RLLY EXPLAIN THIS???]

i sigh and look up from my phone to see minghao and seokmin whispering to eachother and shake hands, i look at them in disbelief and rolled my eyes. i looked back to the screen of my phone and started typing out,

[gyumsy: ok the two already made up, and clearly seokmin won that round. congrats @mint ! ]

i look away from my phone again as they both looked at me, "look gyu, we can't explain this." minghao apologizes as i sigh again. "you know what, it's fine." i tell them reassuringly but seokmin stared at me like a puppy and i couldn't handle it, "but what we can tell you is the person you like," minghao continues as seokmin points to me with his index finger. "he likes you back so no need to worry!" seokmin continues for him as i smile at them. "thanks guys." i thank them as i started reading my book again, my brain is already burning from this equation and after some short while the two goofballs argue again making me block them out with a replacement;

"thinking about jeon wonwoo makes my heart flutter and forget about everything else."
