"My Mate," He growled again, making me face palm myself from his failure to understand how bad the situation actually was.
"I heard you the first time but allow me the honors to repeat myself. I can't just become yours upon said words!"
That last bit seemed to enrage him more but he kept it from rising in his tone as he gradually had backed me into the bark of a tree. He had that terrifying coldness that could've haunted me for ages with what he said next. "Why?"
"Why! Because I'm brown!"

Growing up different in a community of desi people is hard. Mani has grown with traditional teachings and values, but is unable to speak the language even if her life depended on it. She wouldn't have minded being different but it's the perspective of others that shape an individual's identity in her city. Struggling to find an identity for herself at her local high school and traditional community, imagine what would happen if a certain Alpha were thrown into the equation.
Since the beginning she'd desired to be the Mate of one but how could she get him to understand the hardships of being brown?

Hello, hello all my old and new readers!
As many of you know this isn't my first Alpha/Mate/Werewolf work I've written and I know the flow of many werewolf books. I just want to clarify I try to make my work all as original and different as I can from others; what can I say I like standing out from the crowd?
I want to make this as clear as possible, this probably won't be as same as many werewolf books since I incorporating some more religious/cultural aspects from what I understand of my life, and I will in no way tolerate any racism or harsh comments against it. If this isn't your cup of tea, kindly excuse yourself or drain it quietly down the closet plant but dont go trashing sentiments of others in the comment section. Haven't you heard if you nothing good to say, don't say anything at all? This is my story not yours.
Again, this isn't to make mockery of anyone's sentiments or beliefs or feelings.
I'm simply a writer with a story to tell.
Oh, also, NO COPYING! I've worked day and night to create this so all rights are reversed. But seriously. Dont be that person who copies on a test off their lab partner when you know you should've been studying instead of trying to complete that novel or binge watching that show. Smarten that akal [brain].
With that aside, I hope you enjoy the book and don't worry if some parts or if some words don't make sense. I'll be sure to add a short glossary at the end of my chapter for any words you might get and if by chance you do understand, please help others or correct me if I've made a mistake in any way. (I aint no expert!) I'll also be sure to check the comments and help if I can. If some lines are longer, I'll directly add English translations along or under, as such;
