SUMMARY :
After being caught for breaking into a 'hazardous zone' in Quebec, Pandora Bernard has the choice of either going to juvie or becoming a mechanics cadet on Moyulan Shatterdome in China. The short tempered redhead decides to take the mechanics opportunity to avoid being thrown into juvenile hall and to avoid the rath of her parents for being so careless. Upon her arrival at Moyulan Shatterdome, Pandora knew that she was in deep shit and made a mistake.

- ^^ when a kaiju came and attacked Pandora's town, she managed to lose her brother in the rubble of her destroyed home, nobody was able to find him, his body was nowhere to be found

- Pandora goes and visits the 'hazard zone' because that's where she lost her brother and she tries to find clues as to where he is or if he is even still alive. She also starts to build her own robot but gets caught by police before finishing

- so basically Pandora is given two choices, either go to juvie or become a mechanics cadet. She chooses the mechanics cadet route
- the title is what it is because in greek mythology, there is a box full of humans evils and he leaves it with a woman named Pandora and she opens when Zeus specifically told her not too. She then releases whatever is inside the box, but Hope stays inside

- Pandora is a very skilled mechanic
- she's been at Shatterdome for almost a month when Amara arrives
- ^^ Pandora starts to fall for her and they both bond over their robots that they built
- Coraline and Pandora are drift compatible and are best friends
- ^^ they both control the jaeger 'Viking', the robot has two axes which then turn into a battle axe when they combine
- when they all went to go fight the kaiju, Pandora gets hurt because the kaiju ends up tearing Coraline & Pandora's jaeger apart, separating the both of them.
- ^^ Pandora breaks her leg & gets a huge cut on her forehead
- Amara panics & starts crying because she thought that she lost Pandora
