After scattering the fox ashes, Ming and Chun decided to rest for an hour before continuing their journey to the capital.

While Ming was resting and caring both baby and beast Chun and Xinyi on the other went to harvest the dead Dìyù Rune tiger.

They first dug out and took the beast core as its highly valued and then they went of to skin the beast fur and nails which could be used for weaponary, jewellery and clothing.

They also cut up some chunks of the beast meat along with them so they could have something to eat during their journey and if any spare meat were left behind they could use and profit it to sell at the markets for a good price.

After packing the extra belongings and resting for good hour or so they then took off, with one destination in mind the Qinhai capital that was located in the Qin Empire.

Though Ming wanted to go and live in another capital, he knew that he couldn't as he and Chun doesn't know much about other capitals cities locations and if they did it would take them more days to travel there then they are now.

Not only that Chun in the past was a beggar and Ming was just a transmigrated soul, so it's pretty helpless to know deep insight of other cities.

While walking along the path Chun and Xinyi walked in front ahead as Ming on the other hand was walking behind holding onto Jun and Zhenli.

Yes he decided to name the cute fox, Zhenli as the name held a good meaning.

Originally he wanted to name it Xiao Bai but then he decided not too as in every novel he read the main lead always name their beast that specific name so instead he went with Zhenli at the end.

The meaning to the name Zhenli meant truth and that name meant a lot for Ming as he want the fox to be brought up in a loving environment filled with honest people and that no matter what it will never lie to him but state the truth.

To others, truth may not mean much but to Ming, truth was worth a lot more to him personally.

Oh and you also may wonder why he was holding onto both baby and beast without Chun help well, he tried giving Zhenli to Chun but the baby fox started to whimper and when he tried handing over Jun instead, the little bun also followed the fox actions by sobbing, so reluctantly Ming had to hold both the sulking babies against his chest.

'Now that's three babies I'll have to care for, ' he inwardly cried as he looked at both the two babies sleeping peacefully.

Chun looked behind to check up on his master state, only to sigh, "Ahh I feel sorry for master for taking care of two babies, " he muttered with pity while Xinyi rolled his eyes over his master's words.

'You meant three, ' Xinyi thought as he flew off a bit up ahead.

"Xinyi when would we get to the capital, " Chun whined childishly as he dragged himself through the path.

"Soon, " Xinyi squeak in reply while Ming nodded in understanding.

Since he contracted with Zhenli he could now understand Xinyi dialect, which he concluded that was because of Zhenli bloodline or that one of the perks with contracting with Zhenli.

'I guess this is one of the special abilities, ' he thought to himself as he continued walking.

5 hours past of walking and resting, they finally could spot the capital in the distance.

They had to walk a tiny bit more before they can reach the big city gates.

Ming and Chun couldn't help but jump in joy, ahhhh after days of walking and sleeping in the wild they could finally sleep at a comfy inn.

They were currently daydreaming of the comfy quilts and pillows they could finally rest on and let's not forget the tasty food stores they could finally eat from, you could already see Ming day dreaming dazed eyes and Chuns long drool that was escaping the corner of his lips.

Truly they were really happy at how far they've come. From sneaking to escaping to finding their companion beast and to fighting for the first time with powers, you could say this journey did take a huge toll on them.

Once they got to the huge city gates, Ming paid the guards their entrance fee before stepping into the capital.

Both master and servant were left bewildered and awe at the bustling city.

People shouting out to pedestrians about their special deals, citizens and visitors walking with their mythical beast by their side, as children played a game of tag with one another.

The city was truly lively and alive that Ming and Chun couldn't help but feel giddy as they stared in awe.

Though Chun was a beggar he was from a small village and never experience the capital before so it did take him by surprise to see how big and lively the surroundings were.

As they were staring off into the distance they didn't notice that people were looking at Ming with hearts in their eyes.

Who was this beauty?? What's his name?? Is he single or taken??!

So many questions ran through people's mind as they stumbled, trip and bumped into objects and people along their tracks, distracted over Ming's beauty.

After admiring there surroundings Ming and Chun decided to explore the place later as they first went off to find a Inn to rest at since it was currently afternoon.

Inspecting 5 inns that caught their attention they decided to settle down into a decent looking one as they payed to stay for a night.

When they were down dropping off the stuff into their rooms, Ming adjusted Jun and Zhenli on his chest before he went off to the city to explore with Chun and Xinyi tailing along.

The first place they went to explore at was the food stalls near the city gates, trying every snacks that caught their attention, though Chun was reluctant at first to let his master pay for everything, he eventually gave in when his master started to wave dumplings in front of him in which he instantly snatch and ate.

So off the master and servant went to explore trinkets, food stalls and other interesting gadgets that caught their eyes.

All that can be seen was curiosity, mischief and excitement within their gaze, Xinyi couldn't help but rolled his eyes at the duos, 'Ahh is my beauty also clueless like my master,' he wept internally while Jun and Zhenli watched their mama expression in amazement.
