"Do you really have to go?" I said as I got a hold of his hand. I adjust his armour, wishing that he would stay.

Loki is about to join Thor, The Warriors Three and Lady Sif to another fight. They have won all the wars, and I'm certainly proud of my lover. But this one's different. This one started all because of Thor's stupidity, wanting to follow his ego and kill every single living ones in Jotunheim. It has been years that Asgard is in war with them. This little Mission of theirs is not accepted by the Allfather but yet they're going to break the rules. I worry that they all are going to get hurt. There must be a reason why the Allfather didn't allow them to go. Nonetheless, I would always stand by Loki's side and do whatever that makes him happy.

"Yes, my love. I'll have to support Thor and fight by his side. He's my Brother, I'll make sure that we win this fight to bring good name to our family and especially Thor's as he's going to become the rightful King of Asgard." he said as he grabs my hand off his armour and kisses it tenderly.

"And there there, I promise I'll be back really soon to have you in my arms my love." he cups my face lovingly and gave me a kiss. I gave him an assuring smile and nodded.

"Hang on before you leave.." I said as I reluctantly left him to get a handkerchief that I sewed two days ago, beside Loki as he was reading a book to me, with his head on my lap. The handkerchief is of a faded white colour with green laces sewed at it's sides. The fabric was made by using an old dress of mine that I have only worn once. Loki said it is his favourite dress of mine and told me not to throw it away. So in the end, I kept it to recycle it. Who knows maybe one day I can also use it to sew a dress or a suit for our future baby. I smiled at the thought of it. On it, I also sewed his initial L in gold. I took it to him and gave it a kiss, leaving a rose red stain from my lips.

"This is for you.. I hope that you don't go for too Long, but if you do,.." I took a deep breath to stop myself from tearing up.

"But if you do, at least you have a piece of me with you." I said as I held his right hand and gently placed the handkerchief.

"Thank you love." he said and brought up my chin as he leans in to give me a passionate kiss. Once his lips locked with mine, his tongue enters my mouth tenderly. The kiss went on for a while but I pushed him away. He reluctantly moved away causing a confusion in his expression.

"Save it for later when you come back." I said as I looked down in sadness.

"<Y/N>.." he said.

I know I should not seem so sad to make him worry during his journey. In fact, we have discussed regarding this so I shouldn't be this way but I couldn't stop my feelings. I have to be strong for him. I took a deep breath and smiled as I look up to meet his emerald green eyes. I nodded to show assurance that I'm going to be okay. He smiled and kissed my cheek before he left the room.

"I'll see you soon my love." he said as he walked away. I watched him go with a heavy heart, tears starting to pour once he was far enough to not hear me sob. I closed the door. My first action was to get one of his jacket and bring it with me to sleep. I hugged his dark green jacket as I breathed in his scent of sandalwood. It brought me so much comfort. I covered my body with it like a blanket and hugged it too. Soon, I drifted off to sleep.

-Time skips to when they came back from Jotunheim-

I was reading a book that Loki wrote to me, containing his favourite quotes when I heard someone running outside my room.

"Lady <Y/N>!" a familiar voice came with knocks on my door. It must be Astrid, my favourite servant. She is the kindest one that I would regard as my sister. She took care of me from the start when I entered the palace. Knowing more than me, she slowly guided me to learn to be a part of the royal family here in Asgard.
