When I woke up the next morning it was a Saturday so there wasn't any need for me to rush around trying to find anything. I was lying in bed when my dad came in with a pile of clean clothes I just pointed to my dressing table chair where he placed them. "No Cory this morning?" He asked me and I looked at him with a little bit of shock and confusion, "what you didn't think that I didn't know he was staying the night?" He asked me
"How did you know?" I asked
"When I found a pair of boxer shorts in washing pile and I knew that they weren't mine." My dad said and I nodded slowly
"Yeah well you won't have to do his washing anymore." I said grumpily.
"What's happened now? Whatever it is I'm sure you can work it out." Dad said,
"No not this time." I sighed.
"What did he do?" He asked
"Nothing it didn't do anything I was the one with the problems he was lovely I just got scared and did what I do best. Ruined it." I said
"You don't ruin anything Lee you just get scared that's all and that is perfectly normal I know I'm not very good at these things and your mum should be here doing this kind of thing but I'm trying my best here." My dad said
"I know you're dad but what I'm going through is only something that I can fix myself and I think it's best if I just leave whatever I had or didn't have with Cory alone and not push it because he's moved on and I should too." I said a little sadly.
"Moved on too who?"
"Some girl called Florence, remember, she was the girl I was telling you about she was the girl who gave me the crutches." I explained and my dad looked really shocked.
"Her?! Does he like bullies?"
"*laugh a little* no he just likes easy girls." I told my dad and he frowned with disgust as I told him.
"Right I'm not having you mope around all day call Nas and Missy and whoever else you're friends with you're going shopping." My dad tells me as he pulls me out of my bed.
"I don't want too." I whine.
"Tough, get changed and call your friends, I'll take you into town." My dad tells me as he leaves my room for me to get changed and ready for the day out in town that was planned last minute.
