Addison smiled as Dean looked into her full length mirror and adjusted his collar for the millionth time

She had gotten him in a black polo shirt and blue jeans, he looked really nice, now she had her hands in his hair trying to make a perfect man bun and she was succeeding

"Think I should do pigtails instead?" He asked and she busted out laughing

The thought of Dean with pigtails was too damn funny but she was sure he would still look cute as hell.

"Absolutely," she joked back and watched as he cracked a smile as his eyes followed her as she stood in front of him and gelled him up

"Okay, I think you're good." She said and smiled albeit crestfallen

"Thanks so much for this Addison," Dean thanked, wrapping his arms tightly around her, she smiled and wrapped him up in her arms

"I'll come over later, after my date okay?" He said and she nodded with a smile, kinda praying when he got home he forgot to come over because she really didn't wanna hear about his date.

He smiled one last time and left, she sighed and bit her lip as she picked up the picture of her mom that stood on the dresser

"I miss you." She said with a pitiful smile and put it back down, taking up her guitar that she named 'Annie' after her mother. She sat on the edge of the bed, putting her foot on the little cushion stool and looked at the guitar pick before she strummed the beat of a song no one would ever hear

"Dean looks at me, I fake a smile so he won't see, what I want, what I need and everything that we should be," she sang as stable as possible

"I'll bet she's beautiful, that girl he talks about and she's got everything that I have to live without, Dean talks to me, and I laugh cuz it's just so funny, that I can't even see anyone when he's with me," she sang, voice carrying emotion

"He says he's so in love, he's finally got it right, I wonder if he knows he's all I think about at night? He's the reason for the teardrops on my guitar, the only thing that keeps me wishing on a wishing star, he's the song in the car I keep singing, don't know why I do," she sang getting a little choked up but pushing through

"Dean walks by me, can he tell that I can't breathe? There he goes so perfectly, the kind of flawless I wish I could be, she better hold him tight, give him all her love, look in those beautiful eyes and know she's lucky cuz he's the reason for the teardrops on my guitar, the only thing that keeps me wishing on a wishing star, he's the song in the car I keep singing, don't know why I do," this time tears filled her eyes

"So I'll drive home alone, as I turn out the light, I'll put his picture down, and maybe get some sleep tonight, he's the reason for the teardrops on my guitar, the only one who's got enough of me to break my heart, he's the song in the car I keep singing, don't know why I do," she sang eyes closing as she finished the chorus

"He's the time taken up, but there's never enough, and he's all the I need to fall into, Dean looks at me, I fake a smile so he won't see," she finished as a single tear dripped down her cheek

A throat cleared from the doorway and Addison jumped in shock and met the tired eyes of her father who was leaning against the doorframe

"Dad? What're you doing home?" She asked, knowing he was supposed to be in work right now and that's why she sang in a loud voice

"Dean passed me downstairs, said he's going on a date. Thought you might need some cheering up," he said with a shrug and Addison melted

"Aw dad," she said hugging him
