I See You

Addison held the bag in her hands as she walked through the corridors of the school, she was late for Physics class but she needed to do this as soon as she could

"Renee, can I talk to you real quick?" Addison asked as she looked at the blonde who had a smile on her face before she turned to Addison and the smile turned bitter

"Sure," she said, following Addison towards an empty corridor

"This is for you," she said handing Renee the bag in her hands and before Renee could say anything, Addison turned right around and walked away

Renee furrowed her eyebrows as she looked into the bag, and she smirked when she saw what it was

Addison went into physics class and smiled at Mr. Copeland who didn't question why she was late, he just let it slide

She sat at the back of the class and during the entire class, she felt Seth's eyes on her and she sighed

When she made her way to the field to have lunch, she had just taken out her bowl of leftover spaghetti and meatballs when Seth ran over, fully decked in his football gear and he sat next to her

"So, I'm really sorry about last night. I didn't know Renee was gonna say all that crap," he apologized and Addison smiled bitterly

"It's cool," she responded and her eyes narrowed when the coach blew the whistle and Seth stayed sitting with her

"You need to go to practice," she informed

"Can we hang out later? Please?" He asked, hitting her the puppy dog look that he'd mastered

Addison softly bit her lip, Seth was really trying and she knew that, she huffed and gave him a small smile

"I have alot of studying to do," she explained and this time it was true and she frowned as his expression fell

"But, if you wanna come over and study together," she left the offer hanging in the air and resisted to coo at Seth when his smile looked near permanent

"Rollins! Get over here!" Coach Michaels yelled and Seth playfully rolled his eyes

"It's a date," he said with the same smile on his face before he ran over to where the other players were

Addison shook her head at him, trust Seth to make her smile with his cuteness

Dean had just finished practice and he noticed that Addison was still sitting by their tree, he contemplated going over but then he rolled his eyes and was heading to Renee until he realized something that made his eyes widen

Renee was wearing his varsity jacket. The one he gave to Addison.

"Hey babe," she greeted him with a kiss when she finally noticed him

"Hey Renee," he replied, staring at the jacket

"Don't you like it?" Renee asked as she twirled and Dean just smiled and nodded, his brain running a mile a minute

Addison and Seth were on the bed, Addison sitting down cross legged and Seth was laying on his stomach, his head propped up by his hands on his chin. Addison glanced up at Seth and realized his bambi brown eyes were already looking at her. Slowly, a smile made its way across her face

"Quit it, back to studying!" She ordered, same smile tugging her lips

"Sir, yes sir!" Seth teased with a mocked salute and looked back down in the book, Addison doing the same

It wasn't even about two minutes when she looked back up and saw Seth staring back at her again, with a glazed look in his eyes and a smile on his face. Her smile came much faster this time, as she looked back at him

"Why do you keep staring at me?" She asked with a smile

"Maybe because looking at you helps me concentrate," he said and she shook her head and looked back down to her book

"What's there to look at? I'm nothing special," she mumbled

She felt hands on her face and her eyes met Seth's

"Don't you ever say that to me again." He said

"You are so beautiful and smart and talented, so kind and big hearted and funny, I'm still convinced you're an angel, but that's another story," Seth said and smiled when she huffed a laugh

"Why do you care about me so much?" She asked, Seth bit his lip and flitted his eyes to the bedspread before his eyes caught hers again

"I see you for who you are Adds, not for what Renee is making you out to be. I like you for who you are and what you represent, something that asshole Ambrose never did," Seth replied

"I really liked him Seth," she admitted and Seth smiled

"I'll never understand why," he replied and she smiled

"I'm gonna be here for you Addison, whether you want me to or not. I wanna be here for you, to let you know that when the world's cold I can be the hiding place you can go," he said and Addison felt like crying as she listened to him

She looked at him as he leaned in and softly press their lips together. It wasn't a heated kiss but it brought her comfort, just feeling him in her space

It was around 10 when Seth left and she decided to write him a song. She sat at her keyboard and hit a few keys before she wrote down the first lyric

Renee was sat in her bedroom, watching the jacket that was on her bed spread, she smirked and exhaled a satisfied breath. Finally, she had broken Addison. It was only the beginning though. She would make sure Dean never spoke to Addison again.
